LMAO mayday_golf83! Yea, and his left elbow probably lost about 8 layers of flesh on that cartpath slide. Is that his water bottle (or likely beer) that flies out of the cart?

So now is the time when all the judges make that blame pablo thing something real and I get screwed, right? Holy crap you’re right! I forgot! It’s YOUR fault! Dang it Pablo. (Please, someone make a Hank Hill meme with “dang it Pablo!”)

Hey Eric, since I’m kind of away from any kind of technology I haven’t been as involved in the contest as I use to, but I want to take a few minutes to recognize all the hard work you’ve put in this contest. It was a blast taking part in it.
I won’t deny it, not very happy about the performance of path of blame. I’ve learnt something, screw the players and if there are shadows in the greens, so be it. I changed lightning to avoid shadows in the greens and that’s why the course looks so washed. Probably this one will be the first course I port to tgc 19. With this I’m not saying the course has been misjudged or anything like that by any means, I take all the fault of the minus of the course since they are my decisions. Will be back with more power for the next contest, rest assured guys
Thanks for all the work Eric, and congrats to all the winners

I would just like to take a moment to appeal to the sensibilities of the 15 players who have been eliminated and explain why I did what I did heading into round 3.
It's inevitable that the nature of this format will send some really fine courses home far too early. Say what you want about the result of Sonoma Sands vs. The Kraken, but truth of the matter is neither of those courses deserved to be one of the first five out of the contest. The way the stars aligned, however, spelled a premature ending for Reebdoog, who absolutely had a course worthy of making the final 5 in my mind's eye. It just so happened that he faced two other courses in the first two rounds that also appear destined for the final 5. Drawing eventual champion Dusty Lion in the first round of last year's Summer Showdown, I know first hand what it's like to have a quality course not get the result it deserved for no other reason than the luck of the draw, or lack thereof.
When deciding who to keep and who to exile in round 3, I very easily could have shuffled the deck much differently, sent some of our stronger courses to the other side and let the chips fall where they may. I didn't. My thought was, at this point of the contest, the stars need to shine. So I stacked our team with what I thought were the 10 best courses at my disposal, rolled with it and crossed my fingers for a 10-0 sweep. It almost worked. The only exception was Dragon's Pass which, if I had the chance to pull from the other side, I would have in a heartbeat b/c the course absolutely deserved to be in the top 10 ... So did Lion's Gate, so it was a bummer that they ended up pitted against each other and one had to go home.
I say this because the 15 eliminated players have a choice this round. It's well within your right to be vindictive and seek revenge, as the name of the round suggests, creating complete and utter chaos with the matchups. However, I feel we've reached the point where the best courses deserve to shine and have their ultimate fates determined in the final 19th hole, when the order of the top 5 are announced. Obviously, I say this still with a dog in the fight but if I were with you determining the matchups this round, my tune would still be exactly the same.
I propose straight up seeding for this one: 1 v 10, 2 v 9, 3 v 8, 4 v 7 & 5 v 6. Alternatively seed the courses 1-5 and randomly draw their opponents from the remaining five courses. Now, certainly, with 15 of you, there will be some variance and debate on which course each of you believe belongs in which slot, but the ideology is to let the best courses fight it out in the final round, as it should be in a contest of this scale.
Again, you are under no obligation to do it this way. It, perhaps, would make for a slightly less interesting fourth round ... but imagine the debates that could be had -- in the judging panel and on this thread -- if our five best remaining courses are the five left standing heading to the final five. It would make for an epic finale befitting of what has been an epic contest so far.
To the eliminated 15 -- the power is now in your hands. Choose wisely, my friends.

I love how involved guys are in the strategy of this contest, as that was exactly the point of this chaotic Survivor theme. With that said, you’re gonna “love” the big announcement coming later today!
