I was struggling to get going with this one but made some progress over the weekend. I've got 5 holes largely done (1-4 and 9) and slowly starting to get some momentum. The course plan is starting to take shape.

No pics yet as I haven't decided whether to risk going with a minimal planting regime and relying on landscaping only. It may be forced on me because I'm using so many waterfalls that I may not have much object meter left for planting!

7.5 weeks in and I finally have a playable front 9. I'm a bit behind schedule as I only have 5 weeks left to do the Back 9.

I know where I'm going with this but just need the time in the designer. Laying the holes is the easy part. Sculpting the mountain landscape, valleys and stream system is taking forever!

Just 4 more holes to finish plus some peripheral stuff then final playtesting and fine tuning to go. I think I can get this one done by the deadline.

I'm going with the raw, landscape look with virtually no planting. Despite that I am likely to max out the object meter. Here is a little teaser shot:

All 18 holes are done. At least I can submit something. Yeah. It's coming in at only about 6950 yards but a lot more of the holes are uphill than downhill.

Just need to do the clubhouse, finish the monastery, one more bl00dy rope bridge, some sundry items and final playtesting!

Just pinsets 3 and 4 to test and this thing is being published. Hopefully in the next 48 hours. It took me a long time to feel positively about this course but now I'm enjoying it and looking forward to everyone's reaction (both good and bad!).
