Well unfortunately I’m going to have to drop out of yet another contest. I just don’t have the time anymore.
Oh yeah, happy April fools day! Joking of course, the course is coming along really nicely and could be out a full week before the deadline.

Right on schedule. 👍 No, front nine is already completely routed and the back nine is started on 10 and 18. It’ll be out sooner or later before the deadline, just depends on how much time I need for the extra stuff. EDIT: and by routed, I mean textures laid in, with sculpting mostly done |

14 holes in. struggling on the back a bit but...meh...it'll be ok.
Finding the planting look is still going to be the big hurdle here. Tried a few things. So far...nope.

I've got 5 holes done in 2 months. Right on schedule. 👍 Not really sure how, but I now have 18 holes laid down. Actually, I do know: Sleepless nights and an alienated wife. All I have to say is that I really hope there's no yellow near my pins. I swear I've looked at every pin several times from several different angles. I will never do this style of fairways/bunkers again. |

It looks like the deadline will be met after some concerns mid design that the course designer had lost his mind.... before starting on work today he took the opportunity to take the only known photo of the currently unnamed course overlooking the 17th Green as the sun rose this morning.... 17th Green - MadagascarDont be concerned by those pins - they are not as close to the edge as they look and no this is not my environment light - its done so for the picture only. |
