When I rangered this course I had no lag issues and I enjoyed the challenge. Sorry it hasn't translated over very well in tournament play so far.

I just find it peculiar that this course would be chosen for a prestigious event given the # of plays as well as the scheduler being the creator. Why? Were you out of suggestions?

I may not be a fan of playing in the dark, it does not seem to bother anyone else. I experience no lag, but before I play I jack down every available setting. I do rather wish the designers would remember to click on the lights before they publish.
There is however a beautiful Kapalua plantation course, designed by Scarpaci I believe, which happens to be where the real event is being played this week. "KPC beta" if anyone is interested to play it for fun now.
However I find I'm wondering why a Scarpaci course like this gets substituted for this course?
I'm sure rangering and scheduling is not much fun with every one second guessing, so it is what it is, and I will say no more.
Good luck to anyone left to finish.

Sets a bad precedent.

Sets a bad precedent. The fact remains that multiple people tested this course on different systems on all four pins. Whether it is a schedulers' course or not does not affect unexpected results from testing.

Thanks Vladimir! All I can say is that feedback is always welcome. To imply that one course would play differently after testing vs another just because of their standing within the tours is the issue I took up.

Not sure what that means. Anyway.

The course has way more than the 80something plays you guys think it does. There were some post-publishing errors in the original version, which were subsequently corrected through the "Tour" version. So this idea that a course with such little plays because it's crap is being vaulted up onto tour due to the fact that the designer is also the scheduler is patently untrue. Feel free to not like the course, everyone gets to have their own opinion no doubt - but it's ridiculous to say it was only used because Pablo is a scheduler, simply not true...but believe what you want.

What stops others from becoming schedulers and choosing their own courses. Just sayin. Conspiracy theory much? It's just a game. Until today, this course - rangered by 9 and played by 50+ on the RRCC - had universally positive comments, notwithstanding the usual jokes about Pablo-tier difficult greens, and no mention of lag ever. Not sure what more validation is needed that it's worthy for a tour event, especially since it's by a well established designer. Now out of nowhere today there's righteous indignation and accusations over a video game course choice as though we're at an anti-corruption protest lol

played by 50+ on the RRCC We played the original version that had a fairway/rough patch in the front right of the 3rd green - hence the updated "tour" version. And it was way more than 50 If you guys really think it hasn't been played, just search for the name without "tour" included and you'll see what I'm saying. Way off base here.

It has also been played in the RGA using true sim settings.
