Morning guys,
Just signed up to the forum.
On Monday the website said I was CC-D, so I played the comp and went to submit scores and now it's saying I'm Web.com. Does it take a while to register some times? I finished tied 2nd in CC-D in the final week of the season. Is that what's moved me up? And is it just for a week?
Still trying to get my head around this as only had TGC for a month or two.
When have I got until to post my scores for this tournament? And will I be given a strike for playing in the wrong tournament?
Thanks for your help in advance.

Yes, you would have been promoted to Web. You can check with commish@tgctours.com but I would assume you can ignore what you did on the CC tournament and play the web one. You are allowed to play other tournaments in-game so I don't see this as being a problem. Congratulations on your score by the way, you must have been close to winning CC-D with that! The promotion is permanent. No more strikes either. See this link

And we all curse ourselves for leaving numerous shots out there over the four rounds hey! Lol. Shot a -15 round 2, and was +1 through 2 holes that round. Looking forward to getting stuck into web.com. I can imagine it is a sterner test. How did you know I'd have been close to winning that by the way? Are all the CC scores housed somewhere? Thanks for your help bro.

Unlucky, I was one shot of winning CC-B. There was a master leaderboard for last week as it was the CC championship, normally there wasn't one.

Thanks for your help bro. tgctours.com/tournament/ccleaderboard/558There you go. I think most people that were playing in the week 40 cc championship were well aware of the implications if they scored in top 100 or not. Though the commish didn't send out a promotion reminder (they've got lives too), reading the forums / shoutbox over the last week would have made the promotion a little more obvious. Congrats on the web.com promotion and welcome to this forum.

"Admin will manually register all TGC Tours members for the first week of Season 2 on the PGA, European, Web.com tours and Challenge Circuit.".... but I'm not registered in the tournament this week while for the next tournament I did not have any problem to register. What should I do in order to play the tournament this week? So does this mean that anyone who didn't even realise that Season 2 of the Challenge Circuit, for example me , can still play in Week 1 despite not having registered? I can see the option to Submit Score, but I just want to make sure I can actually participate before doing so. Am just asking as I can't find the post where this was quoted, thanks.

A 69 and 68 for me. -3 total. For my first Web.com event.
Played some good golf but a few holes across the 36 cost me dearly.
Two holes in particular...I managed to roll just past the hole catching the slope and into the sand trap on hole two (which turned out to be ridiculously steep) in the first round and misread the height. Rolled back in twice and ended up missing the putt back when I finally got out. Making a teeth gritting 7 (+3) and then on a hole mid way through the back nine on round two I rolled back down off the green. Then proceeded to flop two chips up there and they both had too much back spin, frustratingly coming straight to my feet. Meaning I made a 6 (+2). Dropped it in the drink three times over the two rounds as well.
That's a lot of needless dropped shops, so to not make the cut by what looks like 3 shots, is a tough pill to swallow.
A lot learnt. But a big shame I won't be required to take the bats out for rounds 3 and 4.
Good luck lads.

It was a tricky course and a one where you really had to manage your round to eliminate high scores, better luck for next week.

I second this... Although I frustratingly did significantly better on round 3 and 4 combined.

No need to enter if you know you have missed the cut, I should know I did it more times than not the last time I was on the web tour.
