Just wanted to share a couple images of my next project. The Reserve is my attempt at creating a course found in the Carolinas. More updates to follow. Also, check out my latest course, The Links at Lochlan Bay. Hole 8 Par 4

No, the course is fictional, but is inspired by courses found in the Carolinas.

Are you freakin' serious right now with these pictures? This course looks unbelievable! I've already written this in my journal as courses to watch for when they get published.
Have you designed other courses on TGC2 that I can try?
Edit: I just saw that The Links at Lochlan Bay is yours, so I'll go play that today! I'll check your profile for others.

Ha, Thanks Eric! I actually have two other courses, my first, Calder Creek kinda stinks but it got me used to the tools and capabilities of the game. My second course, The Links at Lochlan Bay, was published a few weeks ago. I'd love to have you give it a go!

This reminds me so much of Griff’s Cackalacky course; the expansive sand works really well with those holes in the pictures. As for the lighting I’d personally put it in early morning with medium fog to really emphasize the light poking through the tree branches, but that means nothing as it isn’t my project. I don’t really think you can go too far wrong with the lighting here though, boreal’s photogenic with practically any lighting.

PS: I played Lochlan Bay and really enjoyed my round. I don't think I scored very well, so for me to enjoy the round anyway, it says a lot for your design. TL@LB is favorited, and I expect Calder Plantation will be too when you publish.

That is awesome to hear! I'm glad you enjoyed The Loch! I had a ton of fun making it and am having even more fun making The Reserve at the moment. I hope it shows in the final product!

Has it all judging by the pictures. Scenery, realism, quality craftsmanship and looks authentic.

So I haven't seen too much around here of the process people go through when coming up with holes. Just thought I'd share mine. I would say most holes are created organically while in the game, but sometimes I'm hit with an idea and I have to get it on paper like the sketch below. Really pumped to get this into the course, but that is the hard part!
