Hi,
Since the last few weeks i have alot of issues with my swing.
I went from hitting like 90-95% of my drives in the red cone, to being unable to hit a lob wedge anywhere straight.
I haven't changed anything in my setup or with my swing. I have also treid both my controllers (old and new) and didn't make a difference. So did reinstalling the game.
Anyone else who maybe had this same problem and knows how to fix it?
I can't play like this.

I'm on xb1, and have had very similar issues. I never had slow downswing, and it's popping up a lot, also I have to work at keeping the ball in the cone. This all started happening a couple weeks ago. I have good rounds here and there, but my overall consistency is lost. It's zapping a lot of the fun out of the game! I use tour clubs, and will continue to use them, but I admit the thought of player clubs has crossed my mind!!! Frustrated!!!

I thought about going back to player clubs, but i'm not going back a level becouse there's something with the game. Or my game rather. I'm waiting for a patch i guess..

I'm not going back either. Worked to hard and made great gains with Tour. That's why I'm so pissed off with the inconsistency's of the game. I did upgrade to and XB1x about the same time my issues started....? Wonder if that has anything to do with my issues???

I have also. Noticed the same issue on PS4. It is very frustrating and I had to go back to player clubs from tour just so I wouldn’t end up throwing my controller through the wall.

It seems like it has been an issue when they fixed the lag. Ever since then I have noticed it

...if they only knew what exactly is causing those problems that so many players do have from time to time (including myself, although it was going pretty well over the past 3-4 weeks).
But the fact they are not talking about it - even in their own forum - really makes me wonder we will ever see a solution for that!

I don't think this problem was there in the beginning of this game. Or at least i didn't hear anybody about it. They should look what was different then to now. But i'm not really a computer guy so what do i know 😥 |

Same here I notice more FAST down swings lately, especially when I don't need one. (PS4) Yes this. Over the last 3 days every third swing is a fast downswing with a sprinkling of very fast thrown in. And I’m not doing anything different. Was playing on exemption to PGA last night. Was -11 through 14. Then the fast glitch started. Gave up 6 strokes in 4 holes to finish -5. Pretty much destroyed me. Ugh!!!! Should have quit after the first one or dropped down to player clubs to finish the round. |

Don't know if anyone does this or not, but it helps with the fast downswings on ps4 (might help on other platforms, not sure?!):
I always pull back to the top/near the top of my swing and let the analog go once before ever attempting an actual swing. Yes, this is tedious, but it seems to help as I only seem to get a couple fast/random downswings per tournament.
FWIW, I haven't noticed any changes in the sensitivity within the cone L to R for a couple of months now.

No Idea what caused or the fix for this, I usually see my backswing reach the top (I don't look directly at the swing) then come forward.When I don't then I know I messed up. I have seen more slow/slow, slow/fast, perfect/slow. perfect/fast lately. |

Just recently I moved up to the Tour Clubs, and for the first 4 or 5 rounds I played, was pleased at how I was shooting. Nothing straight, but all inside the cone and consistently right-to-left so I was able to adjust for this. Played the 1st round of my Tour(Web.Com), on Monday and shot a pleasing -9 despite a double bogey. Decided to play the 2nd round on Tuesday and you would have thought that I had just picked up the game for the time. I wasn't just shooting outside the cone, but miles outside the cone from right-to-left. After 5 holes I quite out and went to the Drive Range, held the controller in exactly the same position and my first drive went way outside the cone, this time from left-to-right. After hitting around 20 drives with only 7 inside the cone I gave up. No matter what adjustment I made I couldn't get any consistency in my swing. So I've now moved back to the Player Clubs as I can only play this game when I feel that I'm in control of my shots. I have to admit, that this has happened before when I moved to the Tour Clubs, I felt I was coping OK with them, but then for some unexplainable reason I couldn't hit anything inside the cone. I'll stick with the Player Clubs until a patch resolves this issue, whatever that issue is.....
