No, my Web and TST wins were all by a stroke or more. by "receiving end," I think he meant that you lost by countback. And more than once in his recollection. Oh, you are correct. Twice. Can't read apparently.

Doyley Would it be possible to code it so that winners and those who tie with the same score getting a 2nd or t2 get the instant promotion to the next up tour as well? Does this sound like a fair compromise? Is it too cumbersome coding and/or finalizing wise?

Does this sound like a fair compromise? Is it too cumbersome coding and/or finalizing wise? Not in the near future but I can put it on the list and see if it's something that can be easily coded. Don't see us giving out multiple trophies though as that will likely get the anti-"everyone gets a trophy" crowd up in arms (which to be honest, I'm likely a member of). The rules are in place and if you are contending for a lead you should know that the b9 of R4 may be used as a countback and to play it accordingly.

Personally, I'm all for count back being the decider, but feel there should be more granularity to the count back process. To make the efforts of 72 holes come down to the score recorded on the 72nd hole alone seems ludicrous to me. - Lowest total score over the final 18 holes
- Lowest total score over the final 9 holes
- Lowest total score over the final 6 holes
- Lowest total score over the final 3 holes
- Lowest recorded score for the 72nd hole
- If by some minor miracle, this is still tied, you then include the same process for R3.
That, in my mind, is count back, and would be a fair way of determining a winner. Playoffs are a non starter for all the reasons stated above.

I lost the tie breaker in CC-A, and yes, I couldn't help but feel not a little cheated. But the next week I won the tie breaker in Web! This time I felt a little dirty....because I was on the other end the week before. I think we all can laugh at the trophy thing, but for all the hours put into the game, you do feel some pride when you see the trophy in your cabinet. I'm not all about saturating the game with trophy's, but maybe you could give equal first place WGR points for those who tie.

If there is tie continue to use the current process to declare a winner but promote all ties to the higher tour rather than one being promoted and the other(s) having to stay above the demotion strike line.
