I've had this the last 3 nights in a row and it is annoying as @!$#. All my coins have gone and I can't buy in to my society rounds. Anybody else getting this?

Try re-booting the game, may need to do it several times, or play a practice round anywhere, that sometimes resets things.
HB Studios are aware but so far no fix, other than reset your router, check you,re signed into PSN, what region do you live in, even though a number of complaints have come from all over the advice given by HB is nonsense, none of that makes the slightest difference.
Once in though everything is back to normal, just annoying you have to go through the above to play the game, and the lag is back, sometimes pretty bad, fast/slow, slow/perfect swings etc, so it has to be a network issue not you, me or any other user but HB seem to be passing the buck on this issue at present

Yeah it is rather annoying as you can't buy in to societies. Thank God the guys that run this site made the societies free to play. Imagine the carnage this would create 😂 |

Another unknown network error. That's 2 days running I've had this. It was OK earlier in the day, and have rebooted 3 times in the last 2 hours - no chance!

Going through the same thing. What my game is doing is starting in offline mode. When I press online,it immediately goes online but without the coins. Not glad others are having same problem, but at least know it’s not just me. Try this just to get by. Go to your society and go to donate to society and press donate. This has given my coins back to me. It doesn’t work every time. Try a different society and do it again. It also worked “once” when buying items. Good luck and they need to fix this.

Going through the same thing. What my game is doing is starting in offline mode. When I press online,it immediately goes online but without the coins. Not glad others are having same problem, but at least know it’s not just me. Having exactly the same issue here in Scotland. Restarting the game fixes it. Irritating to say the least. |

Yip, happening for me also. I've just been playing a practice round first and when that is completed my balance is back. Hadn't thought about donating or buying something, that might be quicker if I need to enter a society event.

Tried the donating to society thing, it just comes up with network error HB-BK [1702}, is,nt that a broken or corrupt log file?

Your right, I would get that error message as well and that is when I would think it could be more on their end than mine. But today my game started in online mode which meant no issue. Now I'm just afraid to turn it off.._

I've been having the same thing (on PS4) since about Thursday last week; game only opens in Offline mode.
Go online and it loads my profile, usually with correct handicap occasionally with none. Every time it does not load my coin balance (0 coins) and societies not correctly loaded either usually shows them all at level 1.
I've found that as soon as i earn or spend coins that it corrects the coin balance; generally i go into a society and click to pay the entry fee for the tournament even though i have 0 coins showing, i buy-in and coin balance is corrected. I've also found if i play a round at any course and earn some coins from a challenge that this also corrects the coin balance.
Another HB stuff up, what a surprise.

Gotta say I’ve grown less and less impressed with HBS over time. The game is great - I love it, but the TGC2 release and accompanying server disaster was amateurish. The first Game update was buggy, and now this.
Don’t recall any other game I’ve owned that’s suffered the same number and severity of issues...

Totally agree. I won't even get an account with HB to use their forum because I know I will just bash them for their incompetents. It is the best golf game out but I am hoping for someone to release a much better one. I too am on a PS4 so I won't get started lol.

I don't know whether this will help anyone if this problem keeps cropping up, but I had the very same issue all weekend, and was desperate to play my Societies rounds. My handicap was coming up but showing zero money. I tried re-booting my system like others had mentioned, but nothing worked. So I decided to play my own career mode as I didn't need any coins to play this. My only hope was, that I would win enough money allowing me to buy into my society. This was the only short term solution I could think of, but as it turned out when I reached the 13th hole all my money suddenly returned, so I was OK in the end.
But it's an option to try if we have this issue again.
Just an update on what I wrote above. Booted up my PS4 mid afternoon to be faced yet again with zero coins. Decided to continue with my career mode, only 5 holes played and my money returned - can't be a coincidence surely!

HB are aware there is a problem with users on the PS4, not all but quiet a large number, they are looking into it.
There are many fixes but they should not need to be done just to play the game, I can,t help but feel in many ways instead of moving forward with the game HB are moving backwards creating problems instead of solving them.
