For the life of me, I do not know why Doyley and Tim doesn't kill this tour with all the ungrateful whining that they have to deal with. Just play or leave.

Mandatory Tour Clubs for World Tour Only Tour clubs are mandatory for the World Tour only (WGC and Major fields included). It will be policed much like our chipping on the greens policy (policed by members). If you see someone on the leaderboard that is using Player Clubs take a pic and email commish@tgctours.com and they will be removed. PGA, Euro, Web, CC-Pro, CC-Am members can use any club type they want. Utter bullshit decision IMO and by the poll that was ran the majority of the players. Think this is the worst decision made by the powers and would think there'll be some walk aways over this Damn, all this guy does is b%& about everything.. |

I need to stick my head out of the designer and pay more attention to tour news apparently. This is a big issue for everyone then yeh? Everyone keep in mind that Doyley and the gang do this for free (basically) so keep it civil out there. No. Stick your head back into the designer before it's too late. Once you get sucked into the never-ending spiral of debates/arguments about club types there is no escape. |

I was in favor for letting the club choice be open to complete last season once the game came out since the release was such a interrupted debacle. This way you had some decent data to support a decision one way or another.
Tour clubs seem to have a decent advantage if you can handle them so if someone wants to try and compete against those with player or standard clubs...more power to them. I could give two shits what other people are using or if I get beat out by one set of clubs or another. Personally I think many are making a bigger deal out of this than needs to be at this point. Let it play out for a bit and see what happens. There is no course defense for solid pre-shot assessment, good striking, course management, and some luck. Those four attributes don't have much to do with what sticks you have I your hands but some will want to debate that.

There isn't enough people who play golf games as it is without forcing people to play with clubs they find frustrating.alot of people have busy lives without having to practice tour clubs 2 hours a day.the better players will always win.i play with both&when I get a new controller am sure I will play with tour only.hb made they game so everyone could play using what set they like.looking forward to playing this week so thank you for hard work in setting up the tours.

Early prediction: no more than 3 people will promote from PGA to Rocher during this entire season 4 with Player Clubs - all other promoters will be using tour already. And even then, I'd also predict that those 1/2/3 players will then compete easily in the Rocher tour with tour clubs a week later (ie they were perfectly capable of promoting with tour clubs and thought they would sandbag up till promotion from PGA with their Players clubs, probably just to try and prove a point....) Thus - the data during the season will IMO prove that players clubs cannot compete at the highest levels of the tours anyway, thus making the whole argument a waste of time (as if it isn't already) |

Just getting to grips with the enforcement of tour clubs on the old European tour. Now starting season 4 on the P.G.A. I'm guessing unless I switch back to player clubs there will be no chance to compete as those using player clubs will shoot ridiculously low scores. Then if by some miracle you make it to the world tour you have to make the switch back again. If you're going to make Tour clubs mandatory it should be for the top 3 tours. If not then just make it any clubs on any tour. |

I don't know, I'd be very surprised if the top of the leaderboards in the Pro Tours have people using Players. Most are fairly comfortable with Tour clubs now and the extra distance and control will tell over 72 holes. But what might happen is that a few Players players steal some positions above the strike line from the odd Tour player whose had a bit of a mare that week.
Point has always been, we don't know! Let's see how the first few weeks go before everyone spits their dummies out and goes off to play Rory (shudder).
