Ok, so I'm playing in only my second event, sporting two demotion strikes already and using tour clubs that go fast, slow, fast all the freaking time. Can't hit a putt for birdie to save my life. #18 treating me like a little B!$ch. -2, then even through my first two rounds. Still better than last week. When I first started with tour clubs, I went to the driving range, then to practice swing and just got my rythm down for about an hour before I even hit a ball. It really helped and help train the mussle memory to keep consistent in 80% of my swings. It may or may not help but it seemed to set me straight...err straighter that is

This game is seriously infuriating. I had a -6 in round 1. Felt good so started round two. All of a sudden my controller is going nuts, i restart shut down wifi, restart it. It works for two shots then randomness in controller returns. Im now +5 through 7 holes in round two and i am hitting the exact same shots.
Do most people hardline in when they play? Maybe my wifi fidelity is the problem?

After stopping half way in the second round I really worked and focused. Finished my tourny -18. Shot -17 on my last 45 holes. Right on the exemption line the last two weeks. Howd others do?

First round -10. Second Round -7 Third Round -8 ( 3 bogies, bummer I couldn't have cleaned that up) Fourth Round -8
Total of -33 . Fingers Crossed.
I really enjoy this course and how it plays to a nice easy draw or fade. Greens are nice too, every hole seems make-able and the possibly of starting off with an eagle just makes the rest of the round cake if you can hit it.

I'm guessing you won't be in CC-D for very long! It does seem weird how people got filtered with TGC-2 coming out that so many really excellent players were put in such low tours. If you shot -17 on the course we are referring to, you should probably end up in the CC-A or higher in my opinion. Have you been in higher tours before?

I'm currently -7 after 3 rounds. My style of play does not fit the course this week! I keep overshooting the greens on my approach shots. Something about this course is making it tough for me to dial in the right distances. Anyone else flying a lot of these greens?

Well I think it has a lot to do with the mental aspect. -17 with 2 rounds to go, I could fall apart just as easily and that is why I am still in CC-AM. When I started with this tour I was in Web.com but didn't really practice and didn't take it that serious. Now I practice at least 2 rounds a day and try to be familiar with all the locations as best I can. Hitting the ball is the easy part, holding it together when you make a bad shot and not feeling like its the end of the world is the biggest challenge. Making small goals too, my goals for now is -3 on the front -3 on the back. Ill take a 4 round score of -24 any day of the week. If you are ever up for practice hit me up. I am in the pacific time zone, steam you can find me at kcfox. BTW I was -20 gong in to 7 in the 4rd round last week and ended up -12 over all because I got pissed at the winds in the last rounds as they were no where near the direction or speed of anything I practiced that prior week. Instead of sucking it up and playing I focused on how "unfair" it felt and screwed up a top 10 finish for sure. Cheers! KC

I really like this course. It's very well designed. My game is a bit frustrating. I've shot -2, +2 and -2 so far but I could have been about ten shots better off if my short game had not abandoned me.

Keep at it. I only started playing 6 weeks ago, and since then I have learned the equation part of this game, ie the 3' of elevation = 1 yard, the putting distance calcs. I've even created my own method for determining sideways movement in putts. The key that helped me on that kind of stuff is creating a test course of my own, with certain controlled scenarios that I could test movement on varying slopes.
Anyways, if you hit fairways 80% of the time or better, that score will drop and it will be more consistent, combine that with a putting average between 1.3-1.6 and you'll be at the top of the leaderboards.

My last round on the Great Lakes invitational didn’t register. Was my best round too, 65. I finished all 4 with -15. I’ve reported the problem so hopefully it’s sorted out.

Finally things came together for me, shot a -11 round 1. Unfortunately, I shot only a -1 in the 2nd round so I probably won't be the leader for long.
I was feeling that putter though, hopefully I can shoot another low 60s round in the 3rd and 4th; need to get more consistent. How are other people's rounds going? KCFox you move up?
