Here is the plan for the remainder of TGC2 as we head towards TGC 2019: Season 12 will be the last one - and it will go for two months, July and August. I will set up as many Majors as I can (we can only do one every ten events). All green fees will be at the max 4,000 duckets. All payback to players will be 97% - the other 3% will be bonus'd into the Majors until that is maxed at 100K duckets. I'll post the course list in July. There are a lot that I'd like to get in and some may not make it. As usual, if there are any courses you'd like to see, list them here (and tag me so I see it right away ) An early thank you to everyone who have been a part of the Duck Hook Club. It doesn't happen without you. If 2019 gives us the opportunity to make it even better we will

But I plan to as of right now.

So uh. It kind of sucks to lose a tournament to a scrub who isn't even good enough to use tour clubs.

So uh. It kind of sucks to lose a tournament to a scrub who isn't even good enough to use tour clubs. We get 20+ yards with the Tour Clubs. If someone using Player Clubs beats me then I'm not using my clubs to their full potential. That's on me for not taking advantage of my advantage. At least that's how I view it.

It's just much easier to hit them straight. Takes the skill right out of it.

At least that's how I view it. It's just much easier to hit them straight. Takes the skill right out of it. That's the give and take. Shorter distance for a little more accuracy. It's a personal choice of attack. Tour Clubs are a little more aggressive but can out you in more pitch & putt situations. Player Clubs not so much depending on the course. But i wouldn't say it takes all of the skill out of it, still gotta make those putts. There is a serious inconsistency problem with the shot mechanic and individual controllers. I know this first hand from using the many controllers I have. Each of them react differently in this game. Luckily I recently bought a Sony controller on sale at Best Buy and it's been maintaining a good swing for a while now. Feel free to use Player Clubs if you think it puts you in a better position to win. No one should chastise anyone else for using Player Clubs. It's not a biggest penis contest

I gotta disagree. The player clubs are easier to use and take less skill to use. They are a crutch for players who just aren't that good.
Nothing to do with a strategic decision. It's a straight lack of ability. And it's not fair to let them play in the same tournament.
It's the same as a handicap.
They are being rewarded for being lesser players.
Might as well let straight shooters play. Same difference.

Nothing stopping you using them and beating all the other player club players

When I first started I used player clubs for a month. But as more players made the switch I noticed I couldn’t keep up with the top players. I made the switch to tour clubs to keep up. Big difference on long holes. Sure they can keep up on short holes and even do better but par 5s and long par 4s win tourneys.
