One other thing I would mention as someone who has been playing since season one: I've seen basically everything changed that in the beginning was said to never be changed. Often on the forum over the years people have bashed one and other for requesting/pointing out changes that ultimately could & did happen. I remember Doyle telling me, "no way are we splitting up the CC tour into more flights". Now we have all kinds of flights all over the board. I think the reason behind this is the amount of new players that have joined since release of TGC2. Ya theres a tonne of players in the CC tours so seems pretty necessary tbh

Somewhat technical question, Doyley . Would it be simple to make the single strike line for the PGA+/Rocher tour at 50% of the field like the CC tours have? It's already in there coding wise, I would think, and could be applied to the new tour (maybe easily)..? Reasoning is that initially a line at 25 players if fine for 50 players. But when the tour is at the 60ish player mark, top 25 is slightly high, IMO. If not feasible, just think of this just as a thought I had. It may have been thought of a while back by Admin, but I just thought of it tonight.

Ya theres a tonne of players in the CC tours so seems pretty necessary tbh I would have thought putting in a CC-F and (to keep the Pro and Am the same number of tours each) CC-G in there would be the best way to go. But it might be more work to add those in than a single, top end tour.

I'm not even sure why this thread is this many pages of sh%$. What's the use? I was unaware that any of the admins got paid to actually do ANY of this? Like, it's a volunteer thing. They do it to provide us a golfing community that I think wouldn't exist outside of them. I wouldn't have stuck with TGC1 or TGC2 without them or this site. Period. Maybe we need a little less b%&ing? Maybe if you're that miserable you should quit? Maybe you should play something else? Maybe you should understand this is a GAME! IT ISN'T REAL LIFE! Jesus !&**ing Christ! Maybe we should say a little more thanks? God forbid their "other" jobs get easier on the backend of the programming side and what have you. I wouldn't have met most of y'all without this site. I'll play whatever they say I'll play. Wherever I get put. It doesn't matter because I enjoy the competition and banter. My hats off to the upper echelon and what they've achieved in this. #Inb4 Come on man, this post is silly.

Quickly threw together an updated (might have missed one or two, and certainly not official) list of the 50 to the World Tour after week 51 results. Top 10 have a * next to their name and are the Top 10 WGR from week 50 results, not what will be tomorrow.
Remember, unofficial and 1 more week of play at Major level WGR points to go.
*Bradley Garcia 458.00 Steve Sloan 375.62 Chris Hrabec 268.35 *Matthew Lazell 257.45 Matt Comley 247.64 John Large 200.63 John Yates 199.79 Mark Russell 185.65 Steven Garrity 179.26 *Mark Custard 165.99
Josh Cassiday 164.75 Mitch Kiser 162.65 Anthony McDonald 158.82 *Rob Dallas 157.79 Kenny Wooley 156.12 Albert Fargo 154.66 John Stenson 153.36 Ryan Hammond 146.97 John Santorella 145.62 *Brian Murphy 144.04
Scott Fulton 141.82 Gavin McCabe 137.03 Nathan Bedell 126.79 Ray Morgan 126.16 Trevor Scott 124.57 Craig Archer 123.77 Justin Smedley 122.38 Ola Ericsson 115.70 Bob Balzhiser 110.48 Bobby Anderson 108.96
Paul Fernihough 107.68 Jim Brown 104.16 *Jack Oliver 102.54 Daniel Blanton 101.39 Kevin O'Neall 98.97 Pavel Kuncicky 97.91 Scott Doyley 95.37 Tobias Graul 92.16 Andy Barrell 90.55 Daxon Blaze 90.22
Dave Chmielewski 89.33 Derek Stupak 88.43 CJ Doane 87.72 Mitch Barnett 87.61 Mike Blackman 87.09 Alan Sutherland 87.05 *Regis Fretto 83.57 *Ian Sweeney 52.34 *JT Current 47.76 *Brian May 0.00
Projected Last 5 Weeks point total cutoff to make World Tour at the end of week 52: 112 to 116

Can we assume mandatory Tour mode difficulty level for PGA+, PGA, and Euro? Still discussing this. Be interesting to hear people's thoughts on how it's working so far. Personally I'd like to go: PGA+: Tour only PGA/Euro/Web: all clubs I know I'm way behind on this but I would vote all clubs. On the Xbox I can't even begin to think about using tour clubs. The swing is all over the place. I can use them on ps4 but it's still sketchy. My friends all play on xbox so it would be great to play on the same console and not be forced into a club choice.

I hate to give up on Tour Clubs, but I also vote all clubs.
I can't seem to get consistency with Tour clubs and I'm finding myself less interested in the game because it's just not fun with tour clubs for me. I don't have the time to practice for a video golf game.

I don't have the time to practice for a video golf game. DO you not want the game to be as realistic as possible? being realistic would involve not hitting 100% of shots straight. I like the variance of my shots not always going straight ad it brings a more real feeling to the game just how real life golf is. pointless to me hitting every shot straight and scoring -56 every week. being at our level you have something to improve on week in week out.

Who said I was hitting 100% of my shots straight? I still have shot variance and often club down from the driver for a safer option. I've never sniffed -56 and I've been playing this game since early release on TGC1. I am simply saying that army golf on a video game does not appeal to me. I played Tour clubs exclusively up until last week and I couldn't make any progress. They frustrate me and sorry, but I don't play video games to add stress to my life.

I didn't mean you personally I meant anyone playing the game hitting -56 week after week hitting the ball straight 100% of the time is not realistic golf. tgc2 has made the game more realistic and harder to get stupid scores which to me makes the game more apealing as I can constantly improve my game. yes it frustrates me sometimes to the point where I want to smash my tv but isn't playing real golf just as frustrating?

People enjoy playing games for different reasons, just remember that.
