This is no fun, my bloodpressure cant take it, so I am out (for a while?) I had fun with this, when I could put reliable, even tho the puttings physics wasnt 100%, it was at least reliable. After the update its just a mess. I just came from a 4 put on hole 5, and its not fun. I tried a some training holes, and thought I had it, but suddenly it decided to mess up.
I will wait and see what happens in the future, but I will drop out of Hawaii Open, and not participate before it (hopefully) gets better.
Good luck to the rest that countinue.

Do both of you use mouse? I use an XB1 controller and have noticed no issues - maybe if we start recording who's having issues and with which controllers something will pop out.

I have only noticed a very slight change (short putts are more of a tap now instead of a stroke), and my scores haven't been impacted except the first 2 rounds when I didn't know a patch changed it. I use an XBOX 360 controller on the PC. Wired X360 controllers are only about $15US, and I think they are a lot more fun over the mouse (which I used the first 2 months). I would recommend getting a controller and trying it out. Maybe borrow one from a neighbor or friend if you don't want to fork over your $ yet.

Ok there is a lot of swing, but that's ok, we can learn and if we hit those putts it feels infinitely better... ie no gimme

So I need to go buy a stupid Console controller to replace my $100 dollar mouse that used to work just fine ... got it. Give it a go man. $15. We have seen your wheels, you can at least give it a try It's not about money ... its the fact they decided to break something that wasn't needed to be a high priority ... putting wasn't perfect before ... but its sucks now ... and they (HB) has a lot of other issues that they could have been looking into to repair, or update ... I don't like for a change out of the blue ... then have it totally take the fun out of the game, and then tell me I just need to practice more to get use to it ...Because they felt they needed too ... great, I spent plenty of time to get semi competent with the old putter ... this one - it doesn't have a consistent feel ... it's sensitive, and the cure is for me to go buy a new controller? and Practice more ... No its not a matter of money at all ... I don't usually get pissed about too much ... but the last several days with this putting issue has sent me over the edge. more so, several of the comments. Between the last major update causing multiple issues (Before Xmas - then out on vacation), and then out of nowhere, change the putter (before the weekend - then its as if I'm at fault for not using a controller) ... it seems something has really went haywire. If I were in-charge, heads would be rolling.

I use Xbox One controller and the putting is awful. Same controller, no issues on my PC. I never had issues, but as a lot of people have mentioned now putts are completely random. I can be 1 foot from the cup and blast a putt 20 feet past the hole or literally hit it half an inch with the same stroke..

Here's a test for you to try
Play "Col Saunders clutch putt practice" course. Set your aim, then move the marker back to 100 feet or so to remove the spyglass effect. hit your putt and see how well you manage to get around hitting your distances without the aid of the spyglass.
I just did that and didn't notice anything different which tells me I'm setting my power correctly (for the most part) with or without the spyglass effect - which is essentially an aid. If you can putt well without it, then you shouldn't have any issues when using it. Give it a try and see how you do.
Here's a few holes from my test
