Sorry about the video, first time i have tried to save a video, it's a little choppy for some reason? Anyway, this is not the first time this has happened, has anyone else seen this?

Looks like the action in TGC2 where the ball is checking up, turns, then comes backwards was starting right when it hit the hole. Then fun cup physics happened. Tough break.

thats the thing it never touches the hole, it goes completely around it

the green was breaking to the right as well, this has happened to me about three times now, thats why i had to make a video, everytime its the same thing, shot hit and its breaking right for the hole, and then breaks the opposite direction against the contour of the green, the other two were from farther away, but same thing.

That's just bizarre! As though there was a force field around the cup, it literally went around the cup without touching it.
I've seen plenty of weird stuff like this, chipping as a whole is a bit of a crap shoot when they're under 10 yards, but this is unexplainable?

its crazy, its like the game is trying to keep from putting the ball in the hole, I put the video up over at hb so hopefully they see it and can take a look at it

As a self-confessed frame-rate whore, watching this video was like stabbing needles repeatedly into my eyes.
Shot did look a bit weird, but mostly I was too busy with the blood pouring from my eyeballs to really understand why.

just one of the many glitches in this game. Like the total lack of the laws of gravity

Yep that's all really. If you want serious opinion... Yes, looked very weird. Weird physics will happen "once in a blue moon" when you have an approximation of physics. Lots and lots and lots and lots.... of shots, a few will look a bit odd, because it's not real life. Good luck with the bug report!

The hardest part of chipping for me, is trying to work out how much roll-out I'm going to get. On one hole during a round I was on the fringe, around 9 yards from the pin and chipping on to an upslope. I pitched the ball around a yard from the hole, and still managed to roll 3 or 4 yards past the pin. On another hole, same round, on the fringe, roughly the same distance away from the hole, only this time chipping onto a downslope. Remembering what happened on the previous hole, my intention was to pitch the ball around 3 or 4 yards from the pin and let it roll down. The ball hit the green and stopped dead. Work that one out, and this has happened many times since. How can the momentum of a ball be greater going uphill than downhill. It seems to me that if you apply logic to this game, you will get punished. You didn't get this with TGC1.

it happens on putts too..it will clearly be left to right and then you hit it, it starts breaking to the hole and BAM it goes the opposite way clearly against the break. Does HB know about this glitch? And what about when you hit the pin on a chip...it should go in like in TGC1, but not here,, just bounces off. I have made several chips, but I also get the bouncing off the pin thing way too much. I'm not talking about smashing it into the pin, I wouldn't complain about that. I mean a nice soft chip, hit the pin and it just bounces off

I suspect these problems are symptomatic of course design glitches. When I hit this putt, it lurched off to the left... notice the lie....
