Looking for a fun society that likes to cut up and have a little fun? Then come hang with the guys from TGCT AfterDark...you know...that crappy NSFW show that airs on TGCToursTV every Wednesday night at 9 pm EST.
We've expanded the format to include PC as well as PS4. There is no membership fee to join, but we are going to hit you up for $250 in virtual cash to play in our club hosted tour. The purse payout in the beginning will be 80% until we can get the club fully up to level 10. Once there we will start having some larger..maybe even massive...payouts for purses. Keep an eye out for real life giveaways during the course of the season as well.
The tournies are set up for 2 rounds of play to help avoid conflicting with the 4 rounds you guys play on TGCT tours.
Grab your bag and tees and come submit your application today! Season kicks off Sunday, September 3!
Season schedule (will update as the season progresses):
Sep 3 Volvo Invitational at Gewella Golf Club 2017 Sep 10 Lowe's Carolina Classic at Quail Hollow Club Sep 17 Lexus Open at Paragon Park Golf Club Sep 24 Starbuck's Pacific Invitational at Heron's Reach Golf Links Oct 1 Amazon.com ProAm at Hyperion Fields Golf Club Oct 8 The Aloha Open at Wailua Valley G.C. Thought I would give this a try, I have no desire to play 4 rounds a week anymore, (especially now the tees and conditions don't change ). 2 rounds will hopefully be just right, and the courses picked look tasty, I've only notched up 40 rounds since day 1, so only played a couple of them thus far. Donated some bucks after my 1st rd, planning to play rd 2 on thursday. Looking at the members on PS4, I hope I'm not expected to contribute a course , it's a designer "who's who" in there.

Nearly gave it away leading by 1 on PC in the second round through 15, bogey 3-putted 16 with a miss from about 4 feet. Managed to birdie 18 after driving into the rough though.

Well, finished tied for 3rd on ps4. I should have caught Pablo, but a couple of bad swings here and there, a few missed makeable birdie putts, and then just ran out of holes to make up the difference. -17 for the 2 rounds, so can't complain too much.
Not sure what I'm going to do on PC. While I'm solid on my swing on ps4, it is all kinda of janky on PC since the patch. I practiced for 30 minutes on the range getting it dialed it...after 40 or so swings at P/P I thought I was good to go. As soon as i hit the 1st tee the swing was all over the place, and never did I have the same results from what felt like the same exact swing. I went through 3 holes, but then had to turn it off. I may hop back on to finish...then again, I may have to just wait until I can figure out my new swing on PC.

I have those days always seems I push the first tee shot after that all is well then some days it's just frustrating lol. Great scores there Griff on PS4.

I put up a good score in week one to be just a few shots shy of the lead on PS4.
Great selection of courses, I look forward to the rest of season.

Tempo......................Schmempo. What's this perfect / perfect I keep hearing about? Just one outrageous bit of luck after another, a bogey free round................... I'm almost embarrassed.

I feel I played really well specially in the first round, it was one of those days where you can't miss a shot. See you at Quail Hollow brother

Week 2 kicks off today. For those that had pending applications you're good to go. Sorry, I was out if pocket for the last 36 hours...life happens. Should be all set now. Good luck, all!

And to the guys playing on the PC tour, my apologies. I just can't play those rounds right now. I've tried, but my swing has completely gone off the rails since the patch. Not an excuse as I know some dispute that anything changed, but my swing is nowhere the same in tempo as it was before. Seeing as I play most of my rounds on ps4 at the moment, it's tough going back and forth. I promise I'm working on it and as soon as I have something even remotely consistent I'll be back with a vengeance.

Man, I had been playing well this morning until I started this event. Just had one of my worst rounds in weeks. Shot a 73. Though I made 14 of the 18 greens in regulation, and two par 5s in 2, I also was in the water twice (triple bogeyed 18) and had 1.78 putts per hole (missed 4 or 5 short ones).
EDIT: Second round started better, was -4 through 10, the proceeded to have 3 straight bogeys with 8 total putts, including a missed 5-footer, in the next 3 holes. Had another 3-putt with another missed 5-footer on 16. Lipped out on 18 to cap things off. Finished even for the tournament having hit 70% of GIR but with 1.67 putts per hole (and that number would be worse except I don't think it counts putts from the fringe or elsewhere off the green, though I could be wrong, and I had a couple chip-in birdies).

Fairly happy with 65 and 67(-10), around Quail Hollow. Lots of dodgy swings and tempos as usual........but somehow, managed to keep it down to only 3 bogeys in 36 holes, 3 putted a couple of times, but that's not surprising with some of the wonky approaches I hit.
