I live in Piedmont NC and we will have a 90% eclipse today. I have my glasses ready. Anyone else in the viewing path? I may head a little more south to get close to 100%.

93% here and its supposed to be cloudy with possible rain at the time.
Guess I'll just look at it online later tonight somewhere.

Where are you located Bob? Central Illinois. Total eclipse is a couple hundred miles to the south. Local time for it is 1:18 PM. I'll be outside for a few minutes and then on my way to work right afterwards.

Nashville, TN. 100%. One of the total, one of the moment the sun came back.

91% in Dayton, but the overcast weather made it seem around 0%. Peak was at 2:28 local time.

Was listening to the radio - apparently for a substantial sum of money, you could buy a ticket on a cruise ship that sailed in the path of totality. The kicker? Bonnie Tyler singing a "special" 2m 40secs version of Total Eclipse of the Heart while it was happening.
You'd have to pay me a substantial sum to endure that tbh...
Great pics Irving.

I do remember the total eclipse we had here in Austria/Europe in August 1999 like it was yesterday. Damn... that spectacle of nature definitely made a lasting impression on me. Loved that apocalyptic mood out there when the sun was (totally) gone. So have fun with it!

Can't wait for 2024: that one's path is less than 50 miles from my house, and it's a mere 3 days before my birthday.

I'm waiting for April 2020 when the full eclipse will be about an hours drive from me.
