I'm just hopeful that the release of this, along with the PS4 Pro is a sign that we've got at least three years left in this gen. As we're basically at the 4 year birthday for each console this would usually be the time hype for a new gen would start ramping up, but I know I'm not eager yet to be thinking about a PS5 or XBox I'm not even going to guess which number MS will stick after it. There is a rumor the next console generation is 2019. Will be interesting to see what Microsoft does, considering the X is supposed to be the "box that ends all other boxes." No chance. There are ps4 exclusives that are due in 2019.

Played one round of TGC2 and I am seeing a night and day difference compared to play on the standard X1.
Textures are much clearer and cleaner. No swing lag at all with either full swing or putting stroke. Hitches in the game cameras almost imperceptible. Plays like it does on my PC but looks far better than the standard Xbox on my screen. Tree shadows no longer look like blobs on the greens, etc...
While I agree that TGC2 needs a great deal of optimization and polishing the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, I’m feeling good about the current performance on the X.

Got Star Wars for my son and played a little bit and it looks amazing and is smooth as butter. Bright future for the X. If anyone was on the fence about getting it I would say it's worth every penny.

I see Star Wars Battlefront II and all I can think is "yikes" given the sh%$ that has gone down the last couple days involving the game

I have no clue what is going on with the game.
I just meant I have seen what this console is capable of now and it's impressive.
Also for first time I can recall playing a new game there is no stutter, lag or freezing . Which in itself is amazing. Especially a EA game.

I got the x also. I have a 1080p right now, so TGC2 has some improvements, not mind blowing, but FIFA 18 is obviously better. It feels as though I put glasses on. Super sharp images. That game is enhanced, and it makes a huge difference on a 1080p. Can't wait to get the 4k tv. Then we will have to wait for the first true 4k games to come out. Should be amazing!!
