This is still a major issue for me. Anyone else? Makes it impossible to get good tempo.
Any solutions?

I never see it at all on PS4. When you play a shot do you look at the screen or your controller?
I don't look at the screen at all and use the sound of the club as a prompt to start the backswing. Never had any issue at all. That's on PS4 pro which plays fine despite claims to the contrary by some. But that's just my opinion!
Don't look at the screen and find the right tempo and you should be fine.

Im on ps4, its there, try taking one or two warm up swings by just pulling back on the swing reset try again, its not fool proof, but it helps, good luck.

That's what I do on almost every shot, a practice backswing. I've found anytime I make a change in the loft settings, the backswing glitches at first. The practice backswing clears that.

Check your motion settings on your TV, sometimes when they are on it messes with some of my video games.

I agree with Chief, I always look at my controller and listen for the woosh of the backswing when it stops immediately begin your downswing, works fine for me Ps4 pro player clubs.

When the backswing doesn't start smooth, stop the swing. Simple.

Buy a new controller and get off blue tooth. Smooth as silk for me once I did that. 3 rounds literally not one stutter on a swing. Old controllers you do not have the option of dumping Bluetooth.
also as other have said - take some practice backswings BUT BE CAREFUL - I had some one inch drives

I fired up TGC2019 for the first time last night and immediately ran into this issue (I had not had any problems on TGC2.) It is also described pretty well here: www.hb-studios.com/forum/index.php?topic=25419.0 (particularly Reply #6 by Jambomakaveli.) I am using a relatively new PS4 Pro with the stock controller that came with it. The next time I play I am going to try it with the controller plugged in and Bluetooth off to verify that I am having the same issue. If it is a Bluetooth issue I am going to try the following: try other controllers (including old PS4 controllers from my non-Pro console that died); reset the controllers; try turning off other Bluetooth items in the room that may be interfering (TV, speakers, Alexa, computers, phones.) Anyone else still run into this? Or if you fixed it, how did you fix it? TYIA.

I almost never have this issue. With bluetooth, on an older controller, it can be quite annoying.

That cable helped my issues. I’ve tried others but they were always loose and caused tempo issues.
