I voted yes. You could try it for 1 and see what response you get after that.

Voted yes. Not sure it would bring scores into the teens but it would reduce them for sure. Even with consistent driving the wind still means your aim point will differ every shot and add to that the courses being very demanding on precise approach shots it should be quite though on even the top players. For the rest of us it just means more flops to save par...
Like the idea that it will reward practice rounds and preparation as well.
Only negative I could see would be just that - on the really though tracks it might reduce the game to who makes the most flops... Wish the flop was corrected to be the high risk get out of trouble shot it is and that HB made a proper pitch shot (some nip but still runs out quite a bit) available for 15-45 yards. If you look at how the game is played this is a very common shot, more so than the chip I would say and for sure much more common than the flop. How many amateur golfers can actually hit a flop with any kind of consistency?

Would much rather have NO GRID than No Scout.....the pro's don't have a helicopter to preview their shots but they do have a ridiculously detailed caddy book with distances to everything and all the green breaks which is better than what we have....No Grid is far from perfect in this game but it is possible to shoot well and have more realistic tournament outcomes. It is hard but it is fair in that everyone is in the same boat. With no scout if you are in a steep bunker you don't get to see the green or the fairway is just dumb if you ask me. Yeah I know don't go in the bunkers....Thanks.
I would rather have hard to see breaks most of the time than at random times play critical shots with a blindfold....some deep bunkers the camera is looking down at you and you cant even see the little white floating flag animation with the distance....like the bunker in front of the green on 8 at Ascension if I remember right. The Pro stands on top of that bunker and reads the landing area then paces off the distance to the flag.
To each his own I know.....

I voted yes, but I would prefer no grid to no scout cam.

I'd love the majors to be No Wind meter, No Grid, No aim reticule with a way to force no Follow cam, but allow use of the scout cam on the greens to line up putts. I might be the only one playing, but it's the truest form of golf you can get on here in my opinion! Just wait until the Country Clubs start up, we'll be able to get some fun tourneys in then!

Should qualify this as just a wish and that it's not going to happen on tour

Daniel, have a go at what I just did - you'll find it a new experience. Leave follow cam on, but don't use it. When you hit a good shot, I just use the replay to see what actually happened. It feels like you're playing a real round of golf. No using the scout cam, only the overhead view - but leave scout cam on for on the greens since it's fast.
This would be one method of producing realistic scores on tour. If anyone shoots 59 doing this they deserve all the accolades we can throw at them!

I suggest Fire Rock Ranch by coruler2. I played it last night so you could use my ghost ball since it would be under the same settings. It was a good course to do that on.
