PC Society. 5000 Coins to join. 4000 Coins entry fee House takes no rake, and House always contributes to the prize pool. Why so much? Looking for the sharp shooters for some high level competition. The players with plenty of coin wishing to gamble it. It also has the unfortunate result of keeping things quiet. Always 4 rounds, always 7 days to play, always will be on top notch RCR's and always all aids will be on. Just wrapping up this weeks US Open at Erin. Tough track that Brighttail destroyed not only the course, but also the field. With 11,000 coins added by the house to that prize pool, and no house rake, Ron stands to be well in the plus column after just 1 event. Aug 3 we move to Innisbrooke and play Copperhead. 4000 coins to enter, no house rake and the house has added 5000 coins to the prize pool.

This thread is being monitored for quality assurance purposes.
And the specific quality I am looking for is on-topic comments.

If coins were worth anything, I'd probably be up for this - I do like a little recreational gambling. But there literally is nothing to do with them once you've got an outfit or 14. As it stands it feels a bit like a "look at how big my penis isn't" competition Perhaps I'll revisit if coins come to mean anything...

lolol at the profanity filter It wasn't even a swear word - but the anatomically correct name for the human male reproductive appendage.

Think I'm +2 after Round 1. Will need a miracle to take down Ron.

Just wrapping up this weeks event at Copper Creek. Tough track putting this week. The house donated 5000 coins to the prize pot and with no house rake, the winner stands to gain a hefty sum of coins.
Thursday the members are catching a Private jet and are off to Merion for the "we need Merion Moore" tourny. Again there is no house rake, and the house has donated 5000 Coins to the pot. 4 rounds, 7 days to play.

I'm planning on joining but have been donating to my other societies to get them up, as soon as I've got a spare 10k ill add you to my list.
Until then, if you're looking for a bigger field come join us at world class golf, cheap entries (and you don't have to re-pay to re-join any societies I've found), a fun discord channel, and decent competition.

I know it is expensive at first, but so far even last place is recouping their fees plus change. I'm basically broke adding as much to the pot as I can. I never anticipate adding less than 5000 coins to each pot with never a house rake. I'm also planning on trying to add 25000 to a major pot in a few weeks. There will never be a request from me for a donation either ever. I play enough new courses to sufficiently fund this society. I have been avoiding societies because of all the surrounding controversy and basically only play this one now so as not to cause a ruckus. It would be fun to get more of a crowd in here, however it is what it is and it will go each week even if I'm the only 1 playing.

So we have a few new members, great to see, should be fun. Very easy society to administer since we only have 1 event a week.
As a reminder, yes it is expensive, however, I will always donate a minimum of 5000 coins to the pot, with majors even more. Always RCR's as well. It only looks expensive, but you should be profitable very quick.
Schedule.
This week we are playing Winged Foot, not visually the best course in the game for sure, but it plays hard and can bite any misstep or lack of judgement.
Next week we going to my creation, Glen Abbey v2. This is a visual wonder if I do say so myself, plays pretty hard for a hacker like me from the back tees as well.
2 weeks from now, we are heading to 1 I found in my PM from the designer. The designer spent a ton of time on this one, for the most part it looks fantastic and from the few holes I played, plays pretty easy. Links at Lighthouse Sound.

Just a little update. We are 5 members strong. This week we are playing "the Links at Lighthouse Sound" 5000 coins have been added to the pot again by the house. Next week we head off to Riviera where again 5000 coins have been added to the pot. The week after, it is time for our first Major. The house has decided to add a minimum of 25000 coins to the pot and I will be working on giving as much as 50000 coins to this pot. The entry fee will also as always be 4000 coins with 100% going to the prize pool, the house never will take a rake. Been trying to find somewhere to play this major, all the good RCR's have been played over and over, so we will go somewhere not yet built. Lots of RCR out there, but it would seem people just do not want to also make them decent looking IMHO. There is more to an RCR then just getting all the bunkers and the greens in the right dimensions, you need also make them look decent IMHO. With that said, we will be playing, and the course will also debut that very morning, PGA West Stadium Course. The course will only be available to members of this society for this week. This will be a private numbered release. Yes I can do this and will do this. The course will release publicly upon the close of this event. WIP can be found here tgctours.proboards.com/thread/12414/pga-west-stadium-course. Looks like I have a deadline, but the course should be well ready by that date, this should give me 1 full week and in excess of 50 hours to fine tune it and tweak it. Something I do not normally do but should. Not making any promises, but I really believe this course will be spectacular.
