Love the game and appreciate all the hard work. HATE the wind waiting its kept me from tourney play but c'mon guys cut em some slack. We get all these updates free, on TGC 1 they gave us all kinda stuff for free and fixed crap and we only paid for 1 update. Slow you roll, atleast we have a great golf game with great physics and it will eventually all come together. The drop off because of WIND waiters is what will make them change it. I'm gunna enjoy it and practice. You shouldn't have to pay for an update that fixes fundamental issues so saying that we get all these updates for free doesn't help HBS case at all.

I dunno what's up with HB so I won't touch that, but I know this community and our feedback has been vital to the growth and evolution of this game and it could all be much worse!!!

I paid 40€ for a half-broken beta game that has the freaking exact same problems that TGC 1 had at release (on top of new and probably worse ones) - the same fukking problems that were already corrected, by the exact same devs, over 1 year ago? That's plain incompetence. So now I have to thank HB for the free updates (i.e. fix for their own reiterate mistakes)......sure!

Question is - will TGCT go live with wind waiting and the club set exploit in effect? Real question is are HB addressing this issue (mainly wind) . Feel bad for Doyley and co been royaly @!$#ed this game should of been a Christmas release at best. I disagree. You want to what for Christmas? This would give us 7 less months of playing this outstanding game.

I see no way in its current state and now having to wait for more patches that the tours will restart for at least another month, maybe two, and thats sad, because a lot of people will tire of waiting.

There are way too many issues with it, some of them that actually make it unfair in a competitive setting, such as the inconsistent winds. The tempo swing is flawed, greatly so. Now whether this is the frame rate or a problem in the coding doesn't matter. In many areas, this game is a great improvement over TGC 1. But in areas that matter the most for competitive play, it has some serious issues that need to be addressed. Anybody who doesn't see that is looking at this through rose colored glasses. Do I want to go back to playing TGC 1? No. But I don't want to play this either. Too many problems. So if it's a choice, I'll go back and wait for the main issues of TGC 2 to be fixed. Either way, at this point, it doesn't matter. The damage has been done. We can only hope that MAYBE we'll start playing again in August. And even that is doubtful. Unless of course TGC Tours decides that as soon as the site is finished we're going ahead, fixes or not. If we do, I can guarantee you that the results will not be pretty and we are going to lose a lot of people. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see that coming.

I'm gonna start playing the tours soon as they start them back up because if it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me.
Sure the game has some flaws but that's life. By no means is this unplayable.
I won't try to act like a resident expert on other people (like how they will drop like flies if we start the tours soon) but I will say that only the strong will survive.
Grit your teeth and have fun with the game. This isn't an end all be all.

I was one of the first to moan, but bar the odd funny thing, which is like once out of 200 strokes (calm down ladies) I can't find fault with it. There's lots of other issues with the game, agreed, but the swing once ya know what to do really isn't flawed. Git Gud.

I said this game shouldn't of been released to Christmas so we would actually still be playing TGC. The game is obviously now released and I pray the first patch will sort the server connection drops and kicks. If it does happy days let's go.

What a shame. TGC1 on this tour was the best online golf experience I had played since way back in Tiger Woods PC 2000/2001.
I was gutted the tour made the choice to cut TGC1 off and go straight to TGC2.
I would have been happy playing my 4 rounds on TGC1 whilst trying to master TCG2 and having a switch when things were ready.
Hope the tour can recover from this choice.

TGC2 gameplay is much better at its core. I just hope that the lack of proper wind, tournament setting etc. that HB forced in the new game will not hurt too much. And that the API has enough data and Tim enough time to make sure fishy rounds are flagged. Otherwise it is cheaters paradise.

Tours need to restart asap. Won't be perfect but better than nothing. Society events are fine but I can't see playing this more than another few weeks without tgct.

Lots of good games coming out ... I'm still frustrated and it's a shame that it can't be trusted.
Don't think I will be around.

Hopefully HB can block or the API can catch those that can manipulate the # of shots taken on a hole.

There's a lot more people asking about Q school than there are threatening to leave or predicting a mass exodus.
Predicting doomsday achieves exactly what? Do people think the admins have a magic solution they're holding out on until enough people threaten to pack up their toys and go home?
Maybe we should all just grow up a bit and be a little patient. If missing a month of tournaments undoes all of the fun you've had, and rules out the possibility of fun in the future - then bye 👋
