Remap Default Steam Screenshot Key- Steam - Settings - In Game - on the right side you'll see F12 for screenshot - I changed it to F4 (so that it doesn't take a screenshot every time you open camera menu)
Taking Screenshots in The Golf ClubAfter getting to the first tee on your selected golf course that needs pictures...- press F12 to open the screenshot tool
- resize the pic so that width is close to 775 and height is full screen (make yellow bar as close to full screen as possible)
- make sure Hide HUD is selected and Show Golfer and ball are deselected - unless you want them in the shot
- use controller to free roam the course - experiment with buttons - there's a button that speeds up the direction you're going (right bumper on XB1 controller)
- Press Enter (A button) to take picture
- There is no audible sound to let you know the shot was taken
- To exit the screenshot tool press Esc twice, then press F12 again
Finding Your PicturesThe Golf Club saves your pictures here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\TheGolfClub (or whatever drive you have installed Steam on)

Hold off on this. Xbox One will implement a screenshot feature like PS4 in the next update I believe (or the spring update)

How do I make the pictures larger here in the forums? I only seem to be getting Thumbnails ? You can use another website to host your images first, and then link to those images. I use Photobucket, other people probably use others.

I couldn't take screenshots using f12, and also, how do I take screenshots while in construction? I'm using a keyboard and mouse.

I couldn't take screenshots using f12, and also, how do I take screenshots while in construction? I'm using a keyboard and mouse. 1. You need to change the Steam key mapping since F12 is the default screenshot hockey in Steam and you don't want to use it. I made mine SHIFT+F12. 2. In GNCD, use the PLAY HOLE command. Once you're on the hole, press the Q key to activate scout cam. Then right-click and drag or use the ASDW kwys to move the camera around. The controls take some getting used to. 3. Once you have the screenshots you want, press F12 to activate the TGC screenshots tool. 4. Change the camera settings to hide the golfer and ball. 5. Press ENTER. You will not see any indication that a screenshot was taken. 6. When done, make sure you add the golfer and ball. 7. Press ESC. 8. Press ESC again. 9. Press Q to exit scout cam.

I'm using a ps4 console, how would I go about taking snapshots of my course under construction? I haven't actually tried it myself but one way that should work would be as follows. Select to play hole and press triangle to scout down the fairway or to green, then pan and angle the camera to where you would like to snap the screenshot. Or for more control over your camera angles and zoom, when in the editor, select sculpt terrain and choose any tool then press circle. The tool either red or blue will disappear, but you will be able to move around anywhere you want on the course without highlighting things etc. Now the part I haven't tried yet....once you take your screenshot(s), go to your capture gallery, connect an external usb drive and copy your screenshot(s) to that. Then just copy them from there to a laptop or PC. Then just a matter of logging in here and posting them.
