Remap Default Steam Screenshot Key- Steam - Settings - In Game - on the right side you'll see F12 for screenshot - I changed it to F4 (so that it doesn't take a screenshot every time you open camera menu)
Taking Screenshots in The Golf ClubAfter getting to the first tee on your selected golf course that needs pictures...- press F12 to open the screenshot tool
- resize the pic so that width is close to 775 and height is full screen (make yellow bar as close to full screen as possible)
- make sure Hide HUD is selected and Show Golfer and ball are deselected - unless you want them in the shot
- use controller to free roam the course - experiment with buttons - there's a button that speeds up the direction you're going (right bumper on XB1 controller)
- Press Enter (A button) to take picture
- There is no audible sound to let you know the shot was taken
- To exit the screenshot tool press Esc twice, then press F12 again
Finding Your PicturesThe Golf Club saves your pictures here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\TheGolfClub (or whatever drive you have installed Steam on)

You ask karma4u nicely if he’ll work his magic for you.

Hi all,
I would like to post my course on this forum for feedback from others. As a PS4 player, is there a recommended method for gathering screen captures to then transfer to here? Forgive me but I see the A to B process to do this on PC but not necessarily PS4...
Thanks!

If I want to post screenshots here on the forum (I'm on PS4 too), I normally load them up to Facebook, copy the picture link/address from there, and then I can insert them here with the "Insert Image" function.

Upload to a third party site (lots of us use imgur) then hit 'reply', and use the picture icon in the post creator. If you do quick reply, it's a lot trickier, so I'd just do it that way.

Doyley, I wonder whether it's worth amending the opening post to explain the roaming camera feature? For those who don't know, if you are on PC, hit F10 to enter camera mode, under 'Game settings', deselect show ball, show player and show putting grid, then hit F11 to hide that menu. You can then zoom around the entire plot to your heart's content and take full screen screenshots from there.

Hi there,
What I did was to go onto Paste.Pics (I had to use Chrome for it). Click on New Screenshot, then browse where the pic is on your own PC. It loads it up there. Then you can copy the URL so you can insert a picture into a post here.
Hope that helps.

Just info, the pics I take for the database are 875x445. That size is pretty much max for the database and that is the size I post to the forums to save time.

Can anyone tell me why, on the HB Studios forum, I can make a post, and simply add an attachment to that post, but on here, I need to upload an image to a third party site? On just about every forum I frequent, you simply add an image by selecting it from your desktop and adding it to your post.

I do not know for sure pozbaird, but I would guess that when you actually upload an image from your computer it occupies more storage space at TGC than just saving the link does. Think of the thousands of pictures on this site.

Could be, I just wondered though because while I only frequent a few forums - NFL, Scottish football, and a couple more, every one of them allows you to simply attach an image directly. No big deal, just wondered out loud. 😀
