The problem is not the clicks, the problem is this game will not give you a percentage read out on your putt swing. So how the hell are we supposed to ever know what percentage the back of our shoe is? How are we supposed to be consistent? I guess in this game your goal is to not be consistent and just try to be with luck of your analog thumbstick. Anyone else see a problem with this? Ok don't use clicks thats a big problem. There is no way to consistently click somewhere. As far as speed goes Once you practice more you'll get the feel of it. I can hit any distance within 3-5 feet 97% of the time between 3ft and 120 ft.

Seems everytime I click on the d-pad it goes the same distance to the left or right..Please explain.

Even A small amount can be the difference between making or missing. Get used to reading the greens. You can get a reverse angle of the read by hitting triangle (ps4) then r1 and pushing down. the more you play the more you know where to put the marker and putting will become very easy.

I came in here to get better at the game, not to worship a player. I started this post to help people get better, including myself. I was hoping a skilled player like your friend "steves" would comment on and say hey, here's a tip.. Not like we all make real money on this game, so I'd hope someone wouls step up and give a helpful tip.

There's a trick to reading the beads more consistently, on PS4 press triangle then immediately pull down on the stick to put camera at ground level, then move slowly forward to read each break.
As for the rest, practice. It literally is that. It's all feel, repetition and learning to understand how far each distance is on the swing. We can't help you do that because as stated, it's feel. There's no trick, no magic.
About 80% of us have been playing TGC for three years+, we weren't smashing in little after putt within 2/3 months. Well, not most of us anyway.

We aren't going to come in here and give you a chart with hundreds of scenarios and how we play each one. Some stuff u gotta do on your own.

And stop acting the fanny too, it's a game about progressing overtime, not Tiger Arcade Gilf 2011 or whatever.

I don't have any friends in here because I also came in here assuming I knew something - and I wasn't as confrontational about it as you're being.
There is no magic pill, just like real golf practice is the only answer.
Good luck.

Ive been aiming for more and more cart paths everyday. If I see one, and the fairway curving round so a perfect shot can bounce it, I have to do it. Then go ten yards right and end up in the root of a tree.

I get what you guys are saying... It's "feel" but there is no feel without the initial setup. Feel is a 10% adjustment sitting on top and made after the %90 initial setup and in golf that set up is mathematical. This is a game, based off code. Therefore code can be broken down to divisions. All code is math and numerals. That means there is a formula to this game 95% numbers to maybe less 5% feel..
