First hit in a while here, played well. Tied Steve at -19 on pc, birdie birdie bogey as the last 3 holes so doubting a count back will help me. Nice course.

I didn't look to see who designed Dixieland yet, but that was a really neat design. I appreciated the way it weaved through the marshland in spots. Very cool! Some really challenging tee shots, which I managed quite well, but my putting is still a major problem.

Hah, I was -7 through 6 then bogeyed 7 with shots out of 3 different bunkers.
Played like garbage for most of the middle of the round, parred 11 through 15. Lipped out for eagle on 16. Finished up at -11. I averaged 0.83 putts per hole over the first 6 holes, 1.5 putts per hole over the last 12.

I've always loved playing scampi00's courses both for the course and for my scores and this is no exception. Not too many places where I'm disappointed by 61-58 and very damn near made my second TGC2 albatross in round 1. Great course and tournament as always

Couldn't putt in the first round, was -4. Started off OK in the second round, missed a short birdie on 1 but birdied the next 3 holes, then missed an 8 foot birdie on 5 and a 7 foot birdie on 6.
EDIT: Actually played pretty well in the second round, shot a 63, just missed a few makeable birdie putts, and TWICE I followed up a bunch of perfect practice swings by badly slicing my tee shot into the water (ended up making par on both holes but it certainly didn't help). Ended up making 28 out of 36 GIR in the tournament and never had a hole above par, but still only finished at -13.

Dang I sure wish I could sculpt a course to look as natural in its setting as scampi00! Really enjoyed this course, beautiful in all it's "simplicity." I had a relatively good event, aside for hole 11 in round 1 where I had a complete brain fart on the green and 4-putted from 27' for birdie. I was -9 thru 10 up to that point, too, so that kinda upset me. Why do I do such dumb stuff to keep me down? Round 2 was highlighted by a near albatross, though! I don't know how this didn't go in!!!
