Played my 2 rounds, really enjoyed it after the gruelling Euro warm up. Nice wide fairways, flat greens, what a breath of fresh air!
Can't recall what I shot in the end, maybe 15 under. Quite pleased with that using tour clubs at this early stage.
Good luck everyone.

We'll probably have time for another gentle "practice" before the season proper gets underway on Sunday 9 July.

Just created another "practice event". Two rounds at Tropic Falls - no entry fee - 500 purse. Timing is a bit weird under the new system. Wouldn't let me start it today so it runs for 2 days Jul 6 - Jul 7. Have fun!
Edit: Event has been force started - It's available to play now.

Still July the 4th where the servers are located & run out of... your local time in Oz is 12 to 14 hours ahead depending which time zone you are in.... Google "Time now in Canada" as an example of how far ahead you are of HB Studios. Note* I'm not sure where the servers are located exactly but the further West they are from your time zone the longer you'll need to wait (locally) for the in game "trigger" to start & finish automatically which makes the actual dates a little confusing when you set up an event!! It's also confusing for some of your Eastern & Centrally based members as they too will expect the event to start / finish on the dates you set!! Handy dandy World time zone site that I use: >>>>>>> www.worldtimebuddy.com BTW bogeyman I noticed you can "force" an event to start in game if you go to the events overview page.

Life wasn't meant to be easy SAM, if only they'd give a bit more info! Thanks for that though - makes more sense now.

#15 at Tropic is outstanding I wanted to save a 4 foot putt because of the ambiance. BTW - a lot of $$ to be made on the challenges at Tropic

Based on my daily events, the event day seems to align with GMT -8 (i.e. midnight to midnight LA time). That sounds just about right to me here in UK coggin66.... Folks are gonna need to understand this when waiting to start or indeed finishing - but I've noticed there's a countdown in days then hours to let players know how long they have left to play regardless of their location. BTW bogeyman I noticed you can "force" an event to start in game if you go to the events overview page. Can't see it SAM . More details pls. When you (the society president) goes to the season schedule overview screen & then in to that particular individual event. IE; The screen where you would select "Pay entry fee" then "begin" to play the 1st round...... That field is replaced with the option to "Force Start" but this message only appears prior to the event actually starting by default. Once the event is underway (forced or naturally) it reverts to the default "Pay Entry Fee" / "Begin" / "Continue" or "Rounds Complete" dependent on your progress.

Ok got it. Just force started my new one. The ability to start a new one as soon as the old has expired is very useful. Thanks SAM.

Wow, that was a tough course. Think I put the first drive in the drink and thought this is going to be a long 2 rounds. Managed to steady the ship a bit although it was windy in round 1. Think I finished both rounds 1 over which doesn't sound great, but I was pleased that I managed to keep most drives dry.
Fantastic course, and the waterfall is amazing. Just shows what can be done in the new game.
Enjoying this tour so far, and made up to get a payout after the first tourney!
Good luck all. Btw if you want to add me on PS4 it's billchief.
