Had my first really solid tournament from start to finish. Love how Magnolia plays in this game with the ability to hold the greens. Still had my fair share of poor swings but was able to scramble out of trouble (with the exception of a double bogie to start the 4th round) -9, -10, -10, -11 for a -40 total. Might just get my first win! Yay virtual HB bucks that I have nothing to spend it on.... Very good scoring that,I hit a quadruple bogey on the 1st hole in the 2nd round, felt like walking off the course😂

I was playing in approx. 11-15mph for the first 3 rounds then 5-7mph round 4 as a result I went 74,74,72,68. for even par finish. It was relatively the same. 11-15 first, a bit higher in the 2nd topping out around 17 I think - but it was a head/tail wind rather than cross wind. 3rd round started high again for the first 9 then down to 7-10 for the last 9. Last round was 7-10 most of the round. I don't understand the wind all that well, but I'm learning. It's the uphill/downhill slopes that give me fits. I know in theory what is going to happen but have struggled to find the correct distance in those situations. I made a lot of putts in this tournament and quite a few chips as well. I can't count on draining 20-footers though...need to learn to get the ball closer.

Just finished Magnolia. Like Yaters, love how it plays with TGC2.
Finished with -12. 66 69 72 69. Has pretty good winds for the first round. Then they got up to 11-15 range for 2,3 and 4. Went 4 over after three to start round 3, but brought it back to -2. Doubled 18 to finish even par.
Played the 4th round with tour clubs. If you can keep it straight they really help with the extra yardage. Had it to 5 under after 15. Thought I hit the perfect shot on 16. Looking for the ball and couldn't see it, then noticed I had a
fast down swing. Looked left and saw it go into the water. Double.
Man those downhill puts are tricky. Sometimes you can't hit it easy enough and just hope the hole gets in the way.
Anyway great fun.

Very pretty golf course at Brookgreen, with some tight fairways for TGC2. Shot -4 in round one, and opened up dead in round 2. Got the defibrillator out and revived it though. Haha!

Ahhhh - that makes sense. I thought the game had a weird bug. I started off -3 after 4 holes and it was telling me I was even par.
Handicap scoring is terrible in this game if you can't see what someone's handicap is on the leaderboard.

Nice, picked up the win last round because of the handicap!
Apparently I only play good in this society. Played well the last round with barely any misses, then played the TGCT PGA event and could hardly hit the cone. Then fired up this rounds event and was firing straight again, picked up first 59 even (after a +9 last night in the PGA...)
Great course choices Clint
