Bought the game yesterday and joined this society the same day. Feels good to be back (-ish) and seeing many familiar faces. The Tour clubs make me feel like a total amateur. Love it. Getting the hang of it from tee to green, after that total disaster. I believe I'm at +10 after 17 holes. Did reach the 600+ par 5 in two though. Eager again to master this game. Don't re-play the first round, it will not go well. That's part of the leaderboard problem - if it hasn't caught up yet, it will prompt you to play the round again instead of the next round and then all hell breaks loose with your score.

Well, I saved my worst round since release for my first society event round... perfect!!! +17, I believe. I think in all my rounds before last night I could count the times I got "Very Fast" or "Very Slow" tempo on one hand... I think I had at least 8 or 9 shots like that last night. I guess I can only go up from here. Sad thing is I played this same course the other night and I believe I finished +3.

It's been 24 hours since I have played my first round and the scoreboard has still not updated to the correct score and it still won't let me play the second round.
The constant problems I am having trying to play society events is really starting to annoy me.

The constant problems I am having trying to play society events is really starting to annoy me. Same here. It's like you have to play all the rounds in one shot for a tourney or else things get sideways real fast. Hope HB gets a fix on this very soon.

This game may not allow me to apply a Major until we have 10 events. I can see this thing is going to F with my plan to do a Season a month. May need to scratch the weekly day off and just go hard.

20 over first round and 4 over second with tour clubs, I urge anyone in the same boat to hit the driving range for an hour or so that are struggling with them. It's practice, practice, practice and finding a good grip on the controller that suits you.
I wish I knew what grips the top players were using, next comes learning distances on every club, lie. Will take a year before I'm competant.
This is my primary Society and will stay so, the others are much easier I've played in, am I right to assume we have a lot of the best players in this club?
I won't be able to play every event if things are ramped up but will be consistent over time and compete when I can.

No hurry. Relax and have fun. I have had no problems with scoreboards finally updating.
There are other grips for controller's? naa. not needed. Club distance numbers are out there. Chipping is not so tough and I still love flopping the ball.

We have reached 101 members in The Duck Hook Club. That's pretty awesome. The total purse in this week's tournament was $17,800, compared to last week's $2,440. Of course when my glitches and I refuse to finish the round starting on shot 5 every hole

I'll be loading up the season schedule with events over this weekend.
Huge Purse for this week, almost $30,000. Moving forward, I'm going to set the buy in at $300 but may leave the Majors at $1,000

Well, that was frustrating. Took a 8 on the Par 3 12th because the game decided this was the only place I could drop, and apparently you cant declare a drop unplayable.

That's harsh Hoosier.
The course itself though was very nice.

Just completed my second and played poorly which is fine BUT, how on earth did my clubs were set to Players when I'm always playing with Tour clubs?
I noticed my driver had a 265 yards distance when I came up short in the rough. How is this even possible?
When I got back to my profile, it was still listed at Tour so I don't know.
