What a game. Let's all play 4 rounds at the course that was the first official event on TGCT and The Golf Club. Ascension Bay hosted the Hyundai Tournament of Champions. 30+ players were lucky enough to be in the field.
Nick Russell was the winner of that very first event at -52.
For anyone that came later, believe it or not we didn't have API. All scores were manually verified across the platforms.
Tour named as the title of this post. -52 was the score to beat. Wonder how many are able to best it now? Tour running for 7 days up to the new release. Post your scores and good luck.

Talk about farewell to TGC1. The back 9 of round 1 has some of the strongest wind I have ever seen! My 8 iron approach to the 17th was 38 clicks to the right. 38 FFS! Happy to report I landed it and birdied the hole. Nice course - one of ArcticFury's that I haven't played before.

Crosswind was around 22 mph and using PS4 controller I had to adjust 38 clicks to the right.

I wouldn't enjoy the game if I had to "guess" how far over I need to be in a wind of that magnitude.

This is not meant to be rude but did anyone ever play Halo? They had multiple editions and then they put them all on one disc. Well this course to me is like playing Halo 1 after you've just been playing Halo 5. It's obviously a sign of how far things have come since the beginning (which IMO is a very good thing).
I'm only on hole 2 of round 1 but I wanted to post my thoughts before I forget them 🍻

Agreed. Still a great course for being made at the beginning

Agreed. Still a great course for being made at the beginning Oh for sure and like I said, it's not meant to be a cut at all but more like a "look how far this thing has come"
