I think the whole idea of the press tent thread is "meet the media" after each round. While we all play our rounds differently ,one at time or altogther, postings in the press tent thread should be limited to the rounds revealed on the TGCTOUR site. In game there is no way to hide final scoress, but by discussing one round at time just adds to the real life feel. -,, Just my two cents.

Ddawg, in principle I am 100% behind your idea, but practicality I think it would be too much of a strain for most with work and family. I am just hoping there would be a way to keep the info on later rounds not be almost unavoidable to see for those wanting to keep things somewhat real. Look ... most of us have family and a job ... it takes about 30 to 40 minutes to play a round ... tour professionals have the same issues ... so if your serious about playing the "Tour" ... I think everyone can spare, or find time to play their "round" per day. Or do not commit ... And "STRAIN" ... I hardly doubt it ... it's priorities ... some sit and play hours of games, watch TV, read the paper ... any of those could be dropped to play your one round ... anything else is and excuse ... unless the net went down/ power outage, or a death of family member ... LOL Im with you DDawg!

LOL ROTFLMAO .... Wow just wow... I can't believe you can be so ignorant to things people have to do. What if you work 9-5, come home, pick your kid up, then have arranged to go out for a meal with friends so are in a rush, then get home at 10 and need to go to bed soon as you have to work 7-3 the next day. That will make you miss a round and dq from the tourney according to you. That's ridiculous! Or is it that we should not have any social life for 4 days a week in order to play TGC. You enforce this and.you will have 50 people finishing each week and this site would.be dead by.end of the year. Some of us have lives outside the game

Rob, I believe the ROTFLMAO meant he was joking about it...at least I hope because if not I would love to know where I can easily have an extra 30-45 minutes each day.

Some of us have lives outside the game And I did it for over 40+ years ... and I still only get 4-to 5 hours of sleep per night ... and I find time to do everything I need done, work, yard work, helping my kids with homework, do my part-time work and take the wife out for her dinner (and on top of that - still golf 3 to 4 times per week) ... including building courses and playing rounds ... again ... its priorities ... I always managed to find time to do the things I want. That's the issue with today's generation ... no sense of time management. The people running this show seem to find time to do all they have to do outside of this game ... I think they if anyone would have a good excuse ... it should be them ... heck ... instead of the time wasted in the forum crying about having so much to do ... could be spent playing the "One tournament round for the day" ... LOL Just sayin' Anything else is excuses. Not ignorance. And ... yeah ... it was suppose to be in jest ... but I guess LOL & ROTFLMAO ... is not enough of a clue ...

Ya didn't answer what would happen in the example given but that was expected just pointing out if I have 2 hours free in the whole day where you may choose to play TGC alot of us may choose to spend that time with our baby boy but hey that's just personal preferences but it justifies why some people won't have time to commit to a round a day

If that is your newborn ... cute and congrats ... but still ... when my first born that young, I was working 40 plus hours per week (3 hour commute time - round trip), going to school full time earning my Bachelors degree in Programming (many a night I woke up with a keyboard plastered to my forehead - from doing homework), I still never miss a day of school, work or turned in a late assignment ... was it tough ... damn straight. I still found time to race online (I used to be big into sim racing), go out with my friends, and spend time with family ... Did I have to pick and choose how much time I spent doing everything - yes ... And I had to prioritize what time I had wisely ... or, SLEEP was the one that suffered. To this day, I still am this way - and I am suppose to be retired ... if I stop and relax ... then I feel like I just wasted time ... we only have so much of it ... I'll relax when they put me in a pinewood box, or a blast furnace ... either way ... I wont care then. Sorry you take this so serious. It still is just a game ... meant to be fun and blow off steam ... banter and chat with fellow gamers, enjoying the same relaxation ... Enjoy your Kid as much as you can now ... they grow-up fast ... mine are 24 and 15 ... I still pull my hair out, and wish I would have kept it in my pants sometimes ... LOL And I wonder why my hair turned grey so fast ...
