I'm inspired by looking at these pics to do a similarly themed course of my own... Looks pretty tedious, but I'm sure the end result will be well worth it after hearing testimonials from other golfers.

Thanks for the comments! I'm not going to lie this theme is a tough one if you want capture the feel of the dune areas as there is no native terrain option that you can apply to give the same feel. It's kind of an all-in approach or else it won't feel right. What makes the theme so interesting is the 3 environments dunes, forrest and cliffside that you have to create; it gives you license to introduce lots of variety into the design. You should give it a go as its a really fun type of course to design but be prepared for a long drawn out process! I'm inspired by looking at these pics to do a similarly themed course of my own... So, clear this up for me, is this an RCR of Monterey Peninsula, or just inspired by?
Looks amazing, btw.

Thanks for the interest! It's coming along nicely but it's been a long process! I haven't had much time to work on it but have made some pretty good progress over the last few days. I would say I'm about 90% complete. Still tweaking greens and cleaning it up and adding some details. I'm thinking it should be out in a week or two. Hopefully before Tgc 2 comes out! It's 100% fictional. I just used some images of courses on the Monterey peninsula as my inspiration. It's turning out to be a bit of a mixed bag. A little bit like Monterey peninsula golf club, cypress point and pebble. I've been at this one for a while and would like to get it off my chest! quote author=" jacobkessler" source="/post/219694/thread" timestamp="1493069910"]So, clear this up for me, is this an RCR of Monterey Peninsula, or just inspired by? Looks amazing, btw.[/quote]
