Silent Ivy Hotel vs Cedar Pointe GC
Judge's Comments:"Cedar Pointe GC vs Silent Ivey Hotel Having played both previously I gave both another look. I enjoyed Silent Ivy and it's well deserved to be in the final four. Exceptional lighting and on my first review I believe I said the texture on cart path could have been changed, however I really think it works in this lighting. The finishing hole did it for me, the clubhouse was a yawn. Cedar Pointe was so perfect. So I stand by my original 10 score out of 10 for Cedar Pointeand a clear winner against Silent Ivy." "Cedar Pointe GC vs Silent Ivey Hotel Both courses are really well designed, but to me i prefer Cedar Pointe, I have no doubt both these courses will be tour stops. But as this competetion at this stage is down to which course we prefer of the 2 i am going with CEDAR POINTE as my winner by the smallest of margins" "Close match-up here, but I'm going with Cedar Pointe GC. After going back and playing both again, I have to say Silent Ivy is fantastic, but to me Cedar Pointe just had that extra character that made it really stand out. Play-wise and aesthetically, Cedar Pointe rises above its competitor. WINNER: CEDAR POINTE GC" "Cedar Pointe GC vs Silent Ivy Winner for me is Silent Ivy" "Cedar Pointe v Silent Ivy. Both quality courses but for me Silent Ivy that bit more polished and more interesting to play. winner Silent Ivy" " Silent Ivey is the winner for me." Cedar Pointe GC wins 5 - 4 and advances to the finals...

Olafsen Skerries vs The Low Course at St Bedes
Judge's Comments:"Olafsen Skerries vs The Low Course at St. Bedes So, went back and played these two again, just to experience the two together again. Olafsen Skerries.. The replay just reconfirmed to me, all the good things about this course with no negatives.. Low Course at St. Bedes I just love this course and all the work that has been put into it. Really looking forward to the absolute finished product I felt there were a couple of bunkers that were IMO unnecessary grass around some greens a bit high and obscured view of hole (chips/putts) bridge and cartpath on #6 a little off, maybe, a little too much grass in some bunkers.. I realize i am being way picky here... just the way it looks to me Both courses are superb and deserve to be in the final, but for me by the slimmest of slim margins The WINNER is............ Olafsen Skerries...." "Olafsen Skerries vs The Low Course at St. Bedes Just replayed both and enjoyed every bit of it. Two excellent courses. Going to have to go with.... THE LOW COURSE AT ST BEDES." "Olafsen Skerries vs Low Course at St Bedes I thought I knew which one I was going to pick but have given them another play through just to make sure. I love St Bedes, one of the most fun courses I've played with a number of real stand out holes (although I found out you can't drive over the ruins and cut that corner!), but it isn't without its flaws, especially the last two holes which really don't live up to the rest of the course. The only real issues I have with Olafsen is the ridiculous out of bounds in the water (which obviously doesn't affect gameplay) and the fact you can use the 1st fairway to make the 9th easier. Apart from that it's virtually flawless and not without the fun factor itself. I've favourited both of these courses, St Bedes has done exceptionally well to get this far and deservedly so. But my winner by a score of 9 to 8.8 is Olafsen Skerries"Olafsen Skerries vs The Low Course at St. Bedes I've judged both these courses before but instead of recycling previous scores I figured both have earned a second playthrough for a direct comparison. So these will be fresh, second impression scores. Don't think I'll have much to say as at this point you know the courses are technically sound and fun to play. Both these courses are technically sound and fun to play. For me what sets them apart is the environment. Normally I prefer the course that let's the natural setting do the talking and keeps the shoe horned in eye candy to a minimum. That is not the case with St. Bedes. The natural environment is at times stunning and the extras like the village in the background and the ruins feel like they belong there and weren't just added for the ooh and aah factor. St. Bedes is just a total package course for me and I can't not pick it. Olafsen - 8.2 St. Bedes - 8.9 Winner: The Low Course at St. Bedes" The Low Course at St Bedes wins 6 - 3 and advances to the finals ...

Commiserations reeb, you put out a top quality course, that I thoroughly enjoyed playing. Who would've thought 2 of the rookies would be contesting the final?
