I was too busy cursing out the golf gods for making most of the winds blow left to right. That just serves to exaggerate my natural fade and is not helpful at all. I'm just drinking scotch and waiting for the bad news... Hopefully not for the last 9 hours straight. So where was I? -7 through one round. Needing -5 to tie, -6 to lead Canada to glorious victory. Knowing full well that no one has come close to even matching their first round score in the second. And knowing that the back nine is a bugger so I'd better score early. No pressure. So there I was, standing in the first tee box getting ready to take my opening shot and long story short I went -9 for the round. So -16 total for the pair. Nice effort though Dug. You didn't make it as easy for me as you thought you did. And thank you to loughrey for running this event. I had a good time with it. And good luck to the rest of the Canadians yet to tee off.

I did stay up till about 3am, but I quit with the scotch onslaught and I wasn't refreshing this page any more often than every 2.4 minutes...I think I hold the record for most points scored by Canadians in this event!

Welp I ended up beating both Doyley and his -18 first round and Coruler! I kept pace with them until the end in the first round and was two shots back with -16. Second round had an eagle and some really nice shots to finish -13. Total -29. You got me Ron. Well played bud. I ended with -16, -10, for -26 total.

Wasn't expecting much after rage-quitting this weeks Euro event in round one, but played relatively well with a -17, -8 = -25. Left a few shots out there but hopefully at least provides a match for the new Machine v3 canthitstraight

Yeah I got a few lucky bounces in the second round with a flop in eagle and a super soft bounce off the fairway that nearly went in for another eagle.

Talk about a tale of two rounds. Just couldn't muster up anything in the second round. Sorry to my US teammates. Congrats and nice match to ABU_Bear. You set the bar to high for me to reach. Go USA! As always thanks to Loughrey

It was my second round luck with the wind that helped me win this match. I had two separate 15 mph crosswind flops out of the sand that hit the pin. One of them went in and the other stood still a few inches away from the pin. Hope to play you again some time. -16, -12 = -28
