Just released Ollie Heath (Med). It's inspired by some of the heathland courses in England. Mainly Notts GCC. have fun!

Coming to a tour stop near you soon. Another great course by RJ. This version a little on the easy side but given some teeth it will be another beauty by this up and coming designer. Great stuff RJ enjoyed my round here.

Firm version released/
Thanks for playing Bogeyman! I dialed back the firmness on the medium version so it should be fairly easy. The firm version will be tougher but hopefully still enjoyable to play.

I did get around to playing this last night. I honestly was a joy to play. I played the firm version and felt very much at home on the course. Played well, looked like a lovely heath-land golf course, just really well done. I didn't go around with a clipboard and marker pen, I just tried to enjoy the experience and that I did. I thought the planting was spot on and gave it a really natural look. Excellent work, I'm sure it will be on one of the tours if it hasn't already been picked up. I look forward to your next course

I've put out quite a few courses in a row now and need to take a breather. As you know creating these courses consumes a lot of mental energy even when your not in the designer! Not sure if I'll make another before Tgc 2. Thanks again for the comments !

Pyates, I forgot to mention that your Stisted Hall was a big influence for this course. I really liked the way the course meandered through the countryside past houses, alongside roads and over creeks. Thanks! I did get around to playing this last night. I honestly was a joy to play. I did actually think when I saw the houses down the side of one hole how much it reminded me of Stisted Hall... but I thought that might sound a bit up myself if I had said that . Tbh it is the biggest compliment that a designer can receive seeing someone take some inspiration from their work. Awesome course, very well done. I did notice a few bunkers in the middle of fairways that I see you removed in a later version. Some folks will complain about that, and whilst they can be overused, I wouldn't be afraid to step out and do something a little 'controversial' once in a while . It worked with the style of the course IMO Must play for anyone who hasn't

I'm always inspired by the great work that people do with the designer. Following some comments in the HB forum I thought I would try a version with the bunkers scaled back a bit. I'm always looking for ways to challenge players without making my fairways narrow and the centreline bunkers were an attempt to to do that. I'm actually still tinkering with the course. After a few more plays I'm actually reintroducing some bunkers and adjusting others to Improve the strategy. Im pretty critical of my designs and am always looking for ways to improve how they play. We'll see how it goes. Thanks again for the inspiration and feedback. Pyates, I forgot to mention that your Stisted Hall was a big influence for this course. Very pleasing to play and to the eye. The are many great golf holes on your course and I love the attention to terrain and vegetaion where you maintain it subtle but pretty. Rated it high and has already played it a couple of times.

Thanks very much karma4u for the great work with the course photos! It's a nice bonus to have course pics to get a sense of what it offers.
