Well, I'm pretty sure I'm not moving on, thanks to some horrible play...
first three courses go like this: 42 47 47
It happens I guess...will finish my abysmal play later. Good luck to everyone.

We should be close to finishing round 1... you do have 15 days to get all the rounds in, but please try and keep to a 3 day schedule so everybody isn't waiting on a few people to finish

I'm hoping someone can answer this question for me. How do you look at the course information before you play a round in tournament mode? This frustrates me like no other with TGC. For example, I want to play Round 1 of this Jan. Elim, but I don't know green speeds, rough length, etc of the course. Is it possible to view that information before you play?
Thanks.

You just need to go play the course in a normal round

Really the only way you can check it out is to go to tgctours.com and look the course up in the database. That has firmness and green speed listed, though speed is not a number. Rough length will always be the same as it's not settable by designers. So...Some courses you can get help, others...Gotta watch a ghost and check speed on the green. Kinda sucks but oh well.

Thank you, Matt! Semi-minor thing, but I really wished they fixed that. Simply add it to the scorecard.

Database isnt very accurate. The green firmness has 5 options for the submitter to pick, but in game there's only really 3 settings

That Hunters course was trolling me. 20 degree ball squirts every other shot, balls hitting middle of hole and bouncing off at 45 degree angle, 5 L to R wind which didn't move my ball one pixel right, 90% flop LW (30yd max), and it flies 22yds? I can do math, and that doesn't compute. Worst round ever

Rd 2 in the books canthitstraight. Not sure if you've played yet, but 51 for me. Low winds, and the course is there for the taking, good luck!

You guys are all freaking really good! I'm happy with my play, but good lord, how do all of you get this good!?!?!
On a side note, I finished all my rounds and didn't realize that we were playing every other 3 days; my bad. The is my first ever playing in a community run tournament so I was still kind of getting the hang of things. Highly likely I'm not moving on anyway. I'll be more on task next time!
