This is becoming an absolute joke now with the courses. May aswell flip a @!$#ing coin to see who wins. Shot -12 in the 1st round with a bogie and don't feel like I have achieved anything by skill. Just look at the leader board as you go through a round, everybody is on the same score nearly. Pathetic minded players have caused this because they have struggled. Honestly does anybody feel great when they birdie a hole? #wheresthetoptourgone Not sure of your point here Tom, I can hear it loud and clear though Somenone hug him cause he dropped a shot!! Sorry it's that pathetic mind of mine again, cheers Tom I have not brought u or any of the others up who select the courses. It were a dig at all the cry babies at the end of last season who could not compete and didn't want to put any effort in at getting better. Too many people want the game handed to them. I and many other players grafted their arses off too learn this game but because some people either were to thick to learn from their mistakes or just could not be arse practicing moaned and moaned and as a result the top 2 tours of this community are now playing CC-Z courses. I may be blunt and not exactly the best person say this but at the end of the day this is what has happened. Some of the best players on this game have absolutely no interest in playing at the minute, and what for because they got to a level where others could not get to? Such a shame that they should be punished. My point is Rod that this is 1 of the top tours on this game but we have been forced to make a few people happy who were struggling last year. They should of dropped down or stayed for the fight.

I wasn't playing too bad either bud. Think I have left it at -30 with 4 holes to play in round 3. But find it poor that this course rewards you for missing the green. Probably at around 8 chips and so will everybody else

67-63 has me -10 thru 36. Guessing that will put me firmly in the Watcher Zone. Is what it is. Were some (most) pins on the dodgy side? Yeah. Was that the reason I struggled? No. Had a hard time getting my feel and misread quite a few putts, especially through the first 27 holes. Played the back nine in 29 during round 2 to even give me a snowball's chance at making the weekend.
The way I see it is we all played the same course as the rest of the field and I didn't execute nearly as well as some others. If that snaps my string of four straight made cuts, all I can do is look at the guy in the mirror.
I'll see how it plays out the next few days. Worse case I'll sneak off and play (for fun) the CC-Pro event that's being held at one of my courses.

Ha I knew better but thought I'd double check The complaining last year has led to the medium conditions we are dealt now but in now way do I want the Euro to become a circus full of poor selections, with the constraints in place ATM I just want to bring variety anyway I can and the first few weeks were a nice tune up but I had to up the difficulty on the medium selections a tad to seperate the fields like you've noticed, I try to please everyone the best I can at the end of the day

-3,-9,-10,-6 for a -28 total. Round 1 will cost me the cut I'd say, it was my warm up round as I went straight in on this one as usual. Playing like a granny lately, I must have been over par from the par 5's alone. I also played some fantastic shots too. Glad it is over and I will fume if I miss the cut, especially after putting up with those mickey mouse pins for 4rounds. How this was let on The tour is an understatement. If there was ever a week for the C word to come back it would have to be now, and I couldn't blame anyone getting banned after that. I nearly took out the driver after 3 putting from 6feet and I was gonna nail it off the green, upload the video and take a dq in style.( I'd love to see that by the way ha ;-) ) anyway rant over and we all have to play the same course and mistakes happen such is life. I'll just sit back and laugh at the angry posts yet to come. Good luck everyone :-)

All done for another week, played ok for 54 holes, ok not going to deny it, playing to miss the green in some aspects was what I did, call me a cheat but if im left with a 3-5 yrd chip for birdie then that's what im going to do, whether it is deemed right or wrong. Then wheels came off in rd 4, missed a 10ft birdie putt on h1 and ended up with a bogey DOH! confidence went, but still happy with my finish again this week.
As for smurfblade88 pic, I birdied that and with a putt
59-61-59-65 = (-36)
I did have this in rd 3 though
Made up for the two par 5's in rd 2 where I found water on both, whoops! made par both times though
My two pennie's on the course, I enjoyed it, but then I just play what's put in front of me so.... I don't have issue's.
Good luck those yet to start/finish and well played those who have

Round 2 and more of the same was called for. A birdie on 1 was a good way to start but a run of 20 holes without a drop shot ended on the 3rd. That is a beast of a par 3 and in that wind I had no idea how to get it close. I got on the putting surface but wasn't able to get it down in 2. I continued to play well though and got myself back to -4 after 11. I then had a run of 5 birdies, everything clicked. I just escaped with par on 17 where again I was in trouble and a nice birdie on the last put me at -10. Under the circumstances that's my best round yet on the Euro tour. Typically before I started playing this week I wasn't focused on making the cut but looks like I've done it in style. I think I'll take a break though for a few days to recharge the batteries. I'm pretty burned out after that! -17 after 2. Good score at the turn! Minimizing bad holes is the key to success here - another 17-under and you'll be bring home a chunk of cash! Cheers Doyley. You don't know me very well though. I have an inability of putting 4 good rounds in. I'll keep to my tactics though. So far I've made the cut every week but never finished near the top. I'm 100th on the money list! Just shows how top loaded it is. I still don't think pin selections were well thought out here. Most were repetitive, I was left with downhill putts towards the fringe on most holes.

You've got me again this week dh-nufc. I'm very unlikely to make the cut. Every time I made a few birdies I seemed to manage to give them back again. I did birdie 17 and 18 in round 2 to give me faint hope at -8, but only a small field can save me. All of you guys in double figures under par are in I reckon, with the size of the field I'd be surprised if the cut is lower than -10. Would be good news for Airik3333

Keep it going Dean mate and big well done your game has come on in leaps and bounds lately, a few more weeks up here and you won't be worrying about cut lines anymore so big well done and great improvement

I haven't played this weeks course and won't get a chance to unfortunately so can't really comment on some of the pins, even if they do seem dodgy some guys seem to be getting the job done. I have really enjoyed the courses chosen this year so far and my only missed cut was at the Belfry after making a balls of things myself and nothing to do with the course or pins, it was a fantastic RCR. I'm sure I would have liked this weeks course too in a sadistic way as I loved ones like Legacy last year that drew a lot of criticism. Hey rod81simo, never mind that Web scrub Moe Slorkman up here causing trouble, he should be thankful his lucky bag had a Euro card in it

Point is, if we had to play a course with pins like this every week then yes, that would be no good. But as we don't and it's just one that's been thrown in the mix it's fine, all part of the challenge of being on the top tour. And this is coming from someone who is probably the worst chipper on the European Tour and is going to miss the cut this week, I was clueless round here! Next week we've got a firm and fast one I believe. Might run a sweep on the date and time of the first whine about it.
