I say stop all course design contests PERIOD!!! We have plenty of courses made week in and week out to satisfy most of the tours needs. No need to have a reality TV Show for every dam contest that is implemented. Guess we could call it Real Housewives of TGC. Maybe you were being sarcastic or making a joke griz, but I and am sure others would agree the contest was a pretty fun experience. No idea if I'd be invited/join another contest but I definitely don't regret doing this one.

No, the real shame is some read things through rose colored spectacles. I never downed the efforts of a creator, however, I do razz a few of them. Because SOME can take, as much as THEY give ... The real shame is how thin skinned some become, and get all defensive, if the read something they disagree with, and others blindy follow and say nothing ... in fear of being ridiculed. I will stop here before going beyond the scope of this no-win topic. For the record, I never concidered myself a top tier designer. Just good enough to be second best .... LOL Now some can read into that lol as well ... I work hard to be "the most disrespected man in the forum" Since we're all about speaking without consequences and keeping it real, you weren't #2 either if we want to get down to brass tacks. At best you were #4 in your bracket, and even that is VERY debatable. You benefited more than ANY other person in the draw. It's only subjective when it fits your agenda. You saying "there's only 4 qualified to judge" is VERY subjective....but that doesn't fit your agenda. Either way, this is done, man. You're a walking talking example of passive aggressive douchebaggery and I'm friggin sick of it. The "I'm right, but people are just too thin skinned and unable to think for themselves" bullshit is for the birds. There's absolutely no reason for this thread to be hijacked like this except for your obvious efforts to be the resident drama queen. Knock it it off or I'll knock it off for you. Are you threatening me, take it off line ... lf you want to make it personal.

I'm a weapons dealer, let me know if yall need guns, bazookas, RPGs, exploding bullets, vests, tanks, buggies, you name it, I got it.
Free fake USA Visa will all orders, that allows you to travel to Mexico first, get a nose job, and come back to finish the job.
But let's keep that a secret

Have to say imo this was about as fair as I think you can make a contest with the judging. One designer and one player judging courses you get the scope of a course from both points of view you can't get any better than that imho. Griff has done a great job and spent a lot of time to get these courses to the community and getting the designers more recognition. I'm happy with the way this has been ran and the results so far some were very close and tough to judge. I expected to go out in Rd 2 I'm not a top designer or well known and I have a different taste in designing than most but hey I'm happy even though I didn't win. Look forward to another contest I'll either enter or possibly judge if I'm asked. My hats off to griff and the judges as well as everyone who completed a course it's a big feat.

Interesting reading in here I've been on a bit of a break outside of playing the American States competition so I haven't been reading too many other threads in the forum. I thought I'd check in here today to see how it's going. I voted quite a while back. First congrats to the remaining final four. Good stuff guys. Although I feel compelled to comment on the other stuff going on in here, I'm just going to say thanks to Griff for taking on this project. It's a lot to do and the designers stepped up to provide some really nice courses, making "a lot to do" even moreso. Every contest I enter, I look forward to my course being scrutinized. And Laughing Moose was drfinitely scrutinized by a few lol. But each time, I take that input and apply it to the next effort. That's how I see myself as a winner with these - I win thru feedback. That feedback with what could have been done to improve the course helps me make the next course better than the last (hopefully lol). Anyways, good luck again to the final four!

Says 6:00am on 20th for me under the vote itself. I guess that is showing me UK time... so basically end of Tuesday I guess? Unless Griff plans to reveal early (we get to see the poll when the timer expires) Just cast my vote. One course felt like a clear winner for me, although all 4 were excellent and each did various different things very very well. Well done to you 4 and all the other designers for some great courses. Congrats to whoever wins it. Will be interesting to see the result. We are at 60 votes now which seems pretty good to me. Well done Griff for an excellently run, fair contest (even though I lost first round )

I finally played the last of the courses, and it forced me re-play the other course I had figured to be the clubhouse leader, so to speak. I'm glad that the selected theme for each course did not factor into my choice at all which is a credit to all the designers. Really well done.

I agree with this... the course I voted for was the one in the theme I generally like the least... which is a huge credit to the designer.

Awwwww!!... 9 pm Eastern is 02 hundred hours Wednesday this side of the pond - never mind I'll catch it on past broadcast.
Big thanks to @griff & all the judges for organising, promoting & overseeing this fantastic showdown style design competition. It's been an absolute blast from start to finish & obviously great for me personally because of the format. Here's wishing my 3 fellow finalists the very best of luck & not forgetting a thanks to all those that voted.

Man I thought all the drama was in the PGA/Euro threads! A wake up call for sure!
What was the name of DDawg's course? Wouldn't mind giving it a go. Appreciate all the time and effort all you designers put into the GNCD. For that, a big thank you! Without you this game would be dogshit not dashit
