With less than a week to go until the TGC1 Seniors Tour comes to an end - I'd like to be among the first to say a huge thank you to Peter ( bogeyman ) for bringing us this fantastic monthly community event. From it's inception to completion he's done an absolutely sterling job administering & publishing the results for us. I'm really hoping he can get something similar up & running in TGC2 once we fully understand what the societies logistics are but one thing's for sure; with Peter at the helm it'll be just as good if not better. So, a big "Cheers" to bogeyman & see y'all on the other side!!

Thanks for the kind words Simon but if I didn't enjoy it I wouldn't do it. To me it seemed obvious - we needed something for the "seniors" of TGC. And they responded in spades. Over 100 players registered since inception, although it must be said average participation was only around half that number. Never mind. We will be back. And we will be more exciting and more relevant than before even if HB are tying our hands behind our backs. Watch this space.
Simon's also been silent about his part in all of this, which has been very important. He has handled the PC scoring side of things and has never faltered or let me down once. In fact he's usually one step ahead of me. Thank you Simon, you have been my PC rock and also a friend and sounding board for all things senior.
I must also thank Jeff McPhee and Rick Green for their help with the XB1 scoring. Thanks guys, your assistance was much appreciated.

Maybe we all hold our double barrels on the HB Dev's & remind em' that us seniors can get a bit cranky without our seniors tour!
Big thanks to Peter & crew for keeping this running. Been a blast!

Man oh man, that last course this month was a tough one in those winds. Through 9 holes, I just wanted to either curl up in a corner or scream; just wanted to get that one over with. Hats off to Magneticpanda for an outstanding score on that last course. Not b%&ing at anyone; just needed to vent. I'm old you know, lol. And Jeff, your excellent score including the last round was just a typical day at the links for you. Great golf as usual.
That being said, I wish to thank everyone involved in creating this tour for us oldies but goodies. I hope in some form this will continue in TGC2. Thanks again and truly enjoyed competing with all of you.

FINAL RESULTS FOR JUNE ARE PUBLISHEDCongrats to the following guys for winning their divisions. Jeff McPhee JeffJeter (who else?), Mark Longley marklongley1, Joseph Arasim jarasim1 and Paul Bradford sid snott. Well played guys. Jeff McPhee - what can I say? You are the Senior Machine. Outstanding effort over a long period of time.On a sadder note, this will be my last post in this particular thread. I want to thank everyone who participated and made this a long and successful competition. Special thanks go to the guys that have assisted over this period. Simon, Jeff and Rick - thank you. At this stage I will be establishing a Seniors Society in the new game for PS4 players. Simon Morris has announced his intention to me to do similar for the PC crowd. Still looking for someone to establish one for X-box. I hope that everybody associated with this competition will support the new Societies and of course we will welcome anyone outside the TGCT community. No firm details for you yet (need to see the game first) but rest assured we will try and make it the best competition it can be. Goodbye and Good Luck! See you in TGC2. Sincerely Pete.

Just in case anyone is still monitoring this old thread I have set up a Seniors Society for PS4 players called Sons of Pitches - Seniors 50+ My hope is that similar societies will soon be set up for PC and XB1 players also. Watch for announcements.
Details of the new PS4 society can be found in a new thread under the community events heading. Hope everyone supports the new societies.
Thank you.
