Played the beta 2 course and definitely a challenge(finished -4). Looks like you are really trying to capture what you have seen in pics I assume and great job. The layout, while I have not seen this course since last on TV(and really don't remember) looks authentic. Can tell you are working to get things right. Best thing of all for this RCR is you are trying to get more then just a good look. Greens are not just flat, and if they are even somewhat close to real, then you did a fantastic job.
The only issue I saw was bunkers going way too deep. Now if they are that way fine, but maybe look up some tips or advice on the sculpting. I know I am looking for as much as I can to improve in that area myself. The few times I did make a deep bunker it took a few not saving and just backing out, and even when I thought I got it right I know it could have been better.
Other then that is general smoothing around areas like outside the course and around greens(though at this stage it might not be possible without ruining what you have done to make the greens playable).
I am no expert and only have a front 9 done of my first true effort. These are some of the things I got as well when I asked for opinions.
Take your time and polish up what you can. Try and get those things that make it look like the location but don't go overboard if it's creating issues. I think you have a real gem here that will end up being a great course for a major.

Thanks Dox, i did want it to be a challenge but still have a chance to pay out if the wind drops. i made around the pins more flatter to give a chance if you stick it and not to be on a severe slope. the descriptions of most of the greens have it with fast or slopey greens with undulations so used the authentic pin positions and whatever pics i could get to help. if the wind drops, -10 can be had as Bob has pointed out though luck can help lol. When it came to the bunkers, in the beginning i did make a few of them too deep BUT they did go back in real life and deepen alot of them to the original ideas and i raised the bottom of the bunkers by 4 to 6 feet, maybe more in places so its way better than in Beta 1. Outside this course, on the other side of the trees from 1,2 etc is housing estates so i cant make them but have an idea to show its there though no houses. Mcbogga pointed out the giant hill next to the upper course so i added that in which basically filled my planting bar to near max. I went around before i published beta 2 between crashes lol and smoothed out slopes of rough here and there to make it better, especially behind the 9th tee. too much playing about at this point might throw something off on the course. Thanks for that, I hope it is, this is my first real go at an RCR and want it to look and play good, fun and challenging. Fingers crossed it gets picked for the major lol. good luck with your own try at an rcr.
