You know, it's funny. The last time I revisited Q School, I would have gotten my PGA card. I said to myself, "This can't be right."
Apparently so. Still can't believe it.
Wonder if we're all going back to Q School when TGC 2 comes out? Has a decision been made on that yet?

From what I've heard, they haven't changed what they originally said, and we'll all go through q-school, but WGR will remain the same.

Maybe the new game will knock me back down to CC and I'll have something to play for. Can't believe I'm even saying that after how hard I fought to make it to Web but really, when you're not one of the best, there's not really too far you can do once you've made PGA. I think just trying to make cuts is either going to get old or frustrating or both. With a difficult new game it'll be like starting all over again.

From what I've heard they're going to leave everybody where they are with no Q-School except there will be the previously suggested elite tour which will consist of the top 49 in WGR plus wagtunes.

You keep saying this in every thread but i dont think you quite understand how it works. if the game gets harder everybody gets worse, you will he competing against the same people, the title of the tour makes no difference.

Yeah but some people might not adapt to the new swing as well as others. It took me longer than most people to get accustomed to this game. So who knows? I could truly be horrible with the new swing even compared to golfers who were in lower tiers. Or I could actually get better. Know way to know for sure. Plus, those who have been on the beta will have an advantage over those who are just starting out. Time will tell. And no Jacob, here we don't go again. Don't go looking for trouble, okay? How about we let's start out fresh, okay?

Of course that will give me time to practice with the new mechanics. Should be fun.

During those off weeks I will be running at least one, likely two tournaments that will be testing out site stuff as well as used to get the new baselines for sorting people out of Q-School. So there won't be too much off time.

Just played the Q-School for fun, I shot -46, opposed to my +62 in the original one.... I see a bit of improvement there....

So here's a lesson in why not to do it too early. I did Q-School pretty much right after I got the game, got a +9. That was 9 days ago. Just played the courses again, -22.

Yeah but where's the fun in waiting?! I still wouldn't change anything, it's a lot of fun working your way up from the bottom and you only get to do it once (much to the annoyance of a few who obviously want to do it all over again...)

Oh, I probably would have done the same thing again, since I'm having fun (shot really well in the tournament this week), point is for anyone who really wants to end up as high as possible, yeah, it's absolutely possible to get 30 shots better on the Q-school courses in a week of play.
