I still think the sharks win this series, but I said last week I expected Nashville to get it back to 2-2.... Looks like Tampa and Pitts in the east... BORING

Cant say I'm happy about Pittsburgh ... and Disappointed with the Islanders ...
Sharks better bring their "A" Game tonight ... I want the win in 5 @ the Tank ...
They need the rest ... they're old like me ...

I have no dog in this fight, but that was a goal in the first OT... I was a hockey goalie for 12 years and that was not interference...

OMG. THE Sharks blow the win with 4 minutes to go ...
Get the winning goal in OT denied... for BS interference.
Then stupid play behind the net ... sets up the pred win ...
Starting to smell the shark choke syndrome, once again
But kudos to Pekka Rinne

Blow game 4, but send the kitties home to change their litter box after game 5 dominance. If only the sharks could play like that for the rest of the playoffs ... Sidenote: This was my third Sharks Playoff Game I've been to ... But my Son's First and what a show it was... Best Playoff game show ever! ... the win helped a lot as well ...

Sharks don't know what it takes to play 60 minutes of hockey.
I have that sinking feeling.
I just have a hard time keeping the hope for a SC alive.
The curse of the choke is in full swing.
But kudos to the preds for showing sharks what wanting to win is all about!
They beat the crap out of the toothless minnows

Both Western Conference series are going 7 games. I sure do love playoff hockey.
Hopefully the Caps force another game 7 tonight.

This series between the Preds and Sharks has been extremely enjoyable to watch, especially Game 4 (although I do agree that the disallowed goal should've counted). Glad to see you enjoyed Game 5, DDawg. I wish Nashville had played better in that one, but I definitely expected a letdown after the marathon in the previous game.
Definitely looking forward to Game 7 -- glad both teams get an extra day of rest beforehand. I hope it's exciting, if nothing else. I didn't expect the Predators to get this far, so anything past this is just gravy. Good luck to both teams, and may the best one win on Thursday night.

I was really hoping Washington would push a game 7 ... but not this year ...

Wow... Disappointed with tonight's result, obviously, but major kudos to San Jose for stepping up in crunch time and dominating the deciding game. They were the better team for most of the series, so they deserve to advance. That core group of players is too good not to make at least one Cup run, so I hope to see them make it past St. Louis, especially since the window may be closing soon.
Hope the Preds can bounce back from this, maybe add one or two more pieces to the puzzle, and be serious contenders for a few years. I think this playoff run will be a source of valuable experience down the road.
Good luck to the final four!

man, what a crazy series. Was worried after Game 4 being robbed in OT and then losing in 3OT, but damn the Sharks came to play at home in Games 5 and 7. I can't remember them looking this dominant in clutch games in my time being a fan (pretty much since I was a kid). Blues will be tough but should be a good series.
Other series should be alright too... huge win for TB but didn't look good for Bishop...

Yeap ... now, it's time to leave it all on the ice, every night, every game. 8 Wins away from the hoisting the Cup ... and in Tampon Bay's case ... seven.
