It's like the whole TGC tours revolves around you Wagtunes. Did you ever think that you're talking to people in CC not PGA or EURO, we play at least a handful of bad shots a round and probably miss the same amount of easy putts,we're not consistent, some people hate the high winds, some people hate the firm greens, hence why our scores are up and down. I come on this forum and all I see is you talking about what you got and if someone doesn't have the same thoughts as you or experiences (for example thinking rd 4 is harder) then its like such shock and horror for your mind to comprehend. My worst round was Rd 1, rounds 2,3,4 were basically all the same around -11 under. Should I be on here trying to ram my opinion down peoples throats that rd 1 was the hardest? (NO) Should I be on here just gauging how i went against the other people who are willing to talk about there scores? (YES) Maybe i just played a little off Round 1 and couldn't work out the winds or read the greens as well as I'd like. I genuinely feel sorry for the guy who made this course, sure a healthy amount of banter about your feelings on the course is fine and all Wagtunes, but put it in retrospect, the designer can't please everyone and maybe the supposedly harder rounds that they design aren't as hard because the variables they cant control (like the wind) aren't to their liking. I'm not sure where all this hostility is coming from and what I said to bring it out but I promise not to say anything else about this course, this tourney or any other tourney in the future because I don't need the drama. Wow. Unfreaking believable. Gonna stay in the Rangers forum and bid my farewell to this place. I'm sure I won't be missed. Just brush it to one side man and maybe like peoples comments once in a while coz I don't think I've ever seen you like someones comments. It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice :-),it goes a long way to have a bit of banter on the forums but I remember you were struggling with the game and my brother private messaged you and you never replied which was simply plain old rude, Then my friend just joined Tgc and you blanked him and didn't make him feel welcome. Maybe this is why people are being hostile towards you. Don't go quitting the forums though man like a spoilt child

Not everyone is gonna get along or agree but you don't need to leave. I know you prob don't like me for instance as you have blanked any comment I've made towards you on here but thats fine because not everyone is going to be buddies. I know some other lads on here who would miss your posts. though so dont just up and leave.

After a desperately needed night's sleep, and reading the above posts, I've decided to just forget about all this stupidity. I overreacted. Period. I've been sick for 3 weeks and my patience is at an all time low. Normally I don't let a little criticism get me to the point where I pick up my toys and run home.
I apologize. Let's move on.
Elsewhere, I am currently in the final exemption position. However, that won't last as there are a few people left to post round 4 who will easily pass me and knock me out. Whatever. Don't belong on B anyway so I'm kind of relieved.
Looking forward to next week's tourney.
That is all.

Yes sometimes wags waffles on but he's like your slightly nutty old nan in the corner. You'll miss him when he's not here. By "Slightly nutty old nan" you did of course mean "Crazy cat lady from The Simpsons" right? Not to kick him when he is down but that's what I always picture when I see him going off at someone for scoring low on a round he didn't. Sort of screaming words you can't make out and throwing cats at everyone. It's all good wags, as curtmantle said, everyone gets sh%$ on a forum and he should know, he's a moderator on our football forum and gets more than his fair share at times!

In all seriousness, can somebody give me tips on how to attack firm greens and more specifically, holes where the pin placement is 5 yards in from the fairway? These holes absolutely give me fits. I have tried everything and nothing gets me anywhere close to the pin.

I have tried everything and nothing gets me anywhere close to the pin. Yes I can. Maybe lay up for the 4-8 yard chip off the green, aim at the hole. Full chip with a LW, then change your avatar, ball goes in.
