Finished at -30 Mt Yeti -4 Whispering -8 Copper Creek -2 Son Gual -6 Kodiak -2 Crawford -8 I'm hoping that is good enough to get my PGA card. Lol, that will be good enough for a top 50 finish in q-school.

Copper Creek is that course where every shot has to be struck with absolute perfection or you are screwed... I have practiced Copper Creek a few times and it's going to kick my ass today, though positive thinking...

There is a difference in a golf course that is stern test of golf where par to slightly above par is great and a course that penalizes for every shot that is not hit with absolute perfection..... Copper Creek is that course where every shot has to be struck with absolute perfection or you are screwed... While I know we all had to play it, I don't feel that it will help separate the field in a fair assessment of who goes to what tour... I hope that whatever tour I make will not ever use that course... I've seen -9 and -10 rounds in the Q-School. I believe the course record may have been -13 on PC. I've seen people struggle on the first few holes and then bounce back to shoot several under par. I watched dlw shoot a 9 on a par 3 and then birdie 5 of the last 6 holes. Respectfully, I disagree with your sentiment. There is nothing wrong with being asked to play conservatively, having to scramble for par occasionally, limiting damage on bad holes, and taking advantage of must-birdie holes to be in contention.

I want to thank Nexus for the video of our back 9 at copper. Copper Creek is a good challenging course. I was very pleased with myself in managing to salvage a descent round after that disaster on #12.

If I'm not mistaken, it's "Skinny Arms" Rob Lowe.

Well first round done in 13-17 Mph wind and finished with a 74 (+2). Not too bad but was on course for at least -1 till I blew up on the 15th and 16th dropping 3 shots Grrrrr!!! Second Round Complete with a 76 (+4) total +6 after 2 rounds and these were supposed to be the easy one's lol! Catch of the Champions Tour! Well Copper Creek handed to me tonight! 3 triple bogey's and 2 double bogey's did not help my round of 87 (+16). Need to get going if even to qualify for web.com tour!

Finished at -14
Mt Yeti -2 Whispering -4 Copper Creek -2 Son Gual -7 Kodiak +2 Crawford -1
Was really hoping to get to 20 under and felt pretty good about it after Son Gual...but then reality sank in at Kodiak! Tough course and I really just did not play well. At Crawford...who knows what happened. So many 92%-94% shots...one costing me a double on 14. Drives me crazy when that happens.
Now I wait....thoughts on -14 making the PGA?

Probably bottled it on Crawford....
Mt Yeti 70 -2 Wispering 65 -7 Copper Creek 70 -1 Son Gual 72 E Kodiak 75 +3 Crawford 76 +5
Total -2
A 95% SW on the short downhill par three on Kodiak cost a triple. Otherwise solid par golf. One more OK round and should still be in...
Last round of q-school on Crawford Mines. Suddenly find myself +5 after nine from some really shaky play including doubles from spinning a flop back off the green on the third and hooking into water on ninth. Darkness. Tunnel vision. Then, perfect drive on 10 and a pulled 8-iron finds the hole off the bank for the eagle. Almost hole in one on next hole and back to +2. Redemption. Safe. Que stupid bogey on 15 and then suddenly standing on 16th tee looking out over this 245 yard par three. The five-wood wasn't that bad really, just a bit thin on the heel side and caught the wind a bit too much. Could just as easily taken a good bounce and settled in the rough. Instead new ball off the tee, duffed chip and a putt that never had a look at the hole. Triple bogey. Curtain. Make par on last two in a haze.
-2 total - out on the bubble?
