Please all -- submit your scores at total strokes, NOT plus/minus. So, 70, NOT -2.

I'm slightly confused! At the end of the Copper Creek round of Q-School, on the initial leaderboard my score said 75( +3), but John said you have finished 4 over. Went to the next leaderboard, the one in green text and that said 4 over, So I posted my score as 76. Later I remembered that Copper Creek is Par 71. So I think I have given a wrong score, albeit higher than I actually scored. What happens now?

It was probably my own fault. I was so nervous last night I couldn't sleep. So got up at 4am (UK time) and started playing. Mediocre round at Mount Yeti, 74, but came to life on Whispering River with 66. Went back to bed just after 5 am, but still couldn't sleep, so started on a bleary eyed Copper Creek. Ok at first but as I got more sleepy fell away a bit. So when I got to the end was half asleep, and as I said above got confused over the score. I wrote down 76, and then thought I might as well post it. I started on Son Gual, but couldn't concentrate, so stopped after 4 holes, and now I'm going back to bed at 7.10 am.
I have a horrible feeling that 2 months of practice are going to be wasted.!!

What is the penalty for signing an incorrect scorecard? I think that would be the answer. Yes you are right of course, disqualification is the only option. Even if I pleaded my case, it would be unfair to let me off the hook, as anyone else in the same predicament would have to be treated the same. Although I was distraught at first, I have now accepted it. I just hope I can still play on the Champions Tour, as that is the option for anyone not finishing qualifying school. Looking on the bright side, I won't have to suffer the idiosyncracies of Kodiak Light!

Yes, Unfortunately Brian, it's a DQ.
But I want to commend you for the way you handle this. You didn't gripe, beg, or plead to stay in. Your took it like a man. You're the kind of player we yearn to have on these tours!

Have to wait until later on to start as I am at work (on break)
I have to say though that I'm not nervous at all and am really looking forward to it.

Is it really 1 typo and ur out? Seems a bit harsh? Just curious as to the logic behind not allowed score to be changed due to a typo when it can also be verified with the in game leaderboard?

The way I did it for the beta tournaments and will continue to do is to go to the actual scorecard. I don't look at the +/- number. I look at the total strokes. That's what I report.

im 4 rounds in, binge played, bogey free on both copper(10-15mph winds at copper) and son gual, im very very happy with my son gual score, though yeti was really frustrating to me today gunna see if i can get in kodiak as well. edit: 68 at kodiak (-4) with 1 or 2 bogeys
