Watchers Eve Watcher of the Watchers Report 5 hours Remaining
With just 14 watchers leaving there attacks to the early hours of the morning Watcher safe zone is still -13 but -12 is on the brink of making it! -12 93% up 18% just need 1 watcher not to pass the -12 mark. -11 50% up 4% would be confident they will make it but there faith is firmly in the hands of the Watchers. -10 were as expected, taken out but an eye witness has said the Watcher was mrooola that struck the final blow and the proceed to have the dreaded extra shot glitch which has left him on the edge of his seat waiting on the court of Doyley to prove his innocence. Just a note to all golfers when quiting your rounds make sure to tee off on the following round to avoid this glitch!! Sleep tight all ! won't be to easy for the -11 club !

Round three started with a birdie but since I played that hole a couple of days ago, I can't remember how I got it, so I am going to assume that I made a massive hundred and twenty foot putt, down hill, vicious break while a streaker ran across the green. With the risk reward shot gone from the second, I put my tee shot in the rough as I was not paying as much attention as I would have if I was not forced to lay up, a short pitch rolled to within two feet for a easy birdie. My first par of the day came on the third, my tee shot looked good in the air but when it landed it rolled a good bit left, I nearly holed the putt, just a couple of inches short. The pin positions on four was tough, my approach just hit the top of the upslope and stopped, then slowly started to roll and roll, it left me with a forty five foot putt that I completely under hit. I just watched my ball roll down that slope, so why did I think it would magically disappear for my putt. I knew I was going to drop shots but not in such a stupid way. Not getting that shot back on the fifth was also stupid again with a under hit shot, a poor pitch shot this time. I think the lack of sleep was catching up with me, just nine hours over the last two days. After pouring a cold bucket of water over my head, I moved onto the sixth. This time to make sure I did not under hit, I put extra power into my shot and over hit instead, which left me with a horrible downhill putt, a gentle tap and off the green it rolled. To make sure I did not end up behind the hole again, I under hit my chip, sigh, missed my bogey putt to drop two. Par on seven settled me down a little but I was struggling, another good looking approach on eight ended up no where near the hole, safe par but could have been better. I got back to even after nine when I left my approach close but to be honest, I was losing interest, that sixth hole was playing on my mind.
I started the back nine with a bogey, another gentle shot that rolled for ages. I followed with a par, this round was now damage limitation. I was forcing myself to pay attention which was never a good sign. I decided to use the rest of the round as practice, maybe try some shots I normally would not try. On twelve, I used a three wood with very low loft as my approach, to my surprise, I ended up with a eleven foot eagle putt, downhill though with heavy break, not that hard to guess the outcome, I missed the fourteen foot birdie putt coming back, just a par. I went driver off the tee on thirteen, to see if I could fade it around the trees, partly successful, go around well but ended up in the heavy rough when the ball rolled of the fairway, a good pitch brought me close enough to make birdie. Fourteen also brought birdie, again it was pitch and putt golf, which can be a strong part of my game. Fifteen had another tough approach, I went with a low loft shot again, a iron this time with another decent result, ten foot away. I rarely play shots with heavily delofted, maybe something I should like into. I still dropped a shot though.I dropped another on sixteen, simply bad putting. I had to go for the green on seventeen, just for fun. My first attempt dropped short, my second attempt a bit better, was in the heavy rough but at least I was dry. Being stuck in the bushes did make my fourth shot difficult, I could not see what I was doing, so end the end, I dropped two shots but it was great to finally go for the green after two rounds of being safe. I finished up with three over after par on the last.
Not overly disappointed with the round, the sixth sucked the life out of me and found it really hard to focus after that and on a course like this, no focus means trouble. I'll speed golf the fourth round tomorrow so I can try get a little practice in for next week. Good luck if not played the third round yet, it's tough but scores are there if attention is paid, have fun.

Despite playing badly, I like the course, challenge is always good but sometimes I will fail the challenge. I learn more from bad rounds than good so will use today as a learning experience.

After looking at the leaderboard for round 3 I can't help but wonder what happened to our friend Brad Putt who was leading the PS4 board after 2 when I played my rounds. Maybe he got held up after the Academy Awards and forgot to submit his scores, either way no sign of him apart from the global record books on most of the courses ;-)

the sixth sucked the life out of me and found it really hard to focus after that and on a course like this, no focus means trouble. Yeah the sixth sucked the life out of me in practice also, I scored two snowmen on that Saturday pin. I was so traumatised I didn't make the cut. I think it was the body's natural protective mechanism kicking in - it didn't want me to have to play that hole again. Then I look at the leaderboard this evening and I see Lovedeep Singh on top (Sorry mate but Irving's gonna have a field day with that!) and how the freakin' hell does he manage a 59 on Saturday? He must be one hell of a player cos' I couldn't break par once in practice on the Saturday pins. Surely with that sort of effort, on that course, on that setup he's gonna give the machine a run for his money at some stage. Mark my words Ian - you have been warned.

I'm already looking forward to the podcast seeing as they found my name hilarious a couple of weeks back. I have been waiting for lovedeep and McGee to be side by side on the leaderboard but it hasn't happened yet unfortunately

Regarding my glitch. I'm standing on the 1st tee of my second round. But my scorecard from round 1 and 2 are up on the site. That should mean I can speedgolf my way through this "new" second round without worrying on my score right? The api should already have verified my score?
