Though I prefer the original Tye Dunes, this is still definitely some great work! Nice hole in one by the way . You created a very scenic and unique plot with Tye Dunes and it was fun seeing how you re-routed a lot of the holes in different parts of the course. I won't spoil it for others playing, but I was wondering where the heck you were going on #10 tee. And I've got to say, I thought the par 3's on this course were absolutely fantastic. Such beautiful views from the tee. Would love to see this on the Challenge Circuit soon enough. Can't wait for your next release!

I'm not even sure if I've ever had one outside the GNCD before so was pretty pleased with that one. And yeah use the overhead on hole 10 is my suggestion :-D, hopefully it's not too out there design wise, the land just kinda laid that way so I decided to go for it Thanks for the play and the comments, agree with what you said. I feel the par 3's are possibly the best holes and I also prefer a slightly tougher course in general so the original remains my favourite. In terms of difficulty I stepped outside my comfort zone, in terms of visuals, I guess you can say I cheated a little :-D

I loved the first Tye Dunes and I think that this course is even better. There are so many great views and especially in the holes along the beach. The 18th and the clubhouse are also really well done. I am a CC player so pretty happy with my - 4 68. Thanks again for creating this course and I look forward to Tye Dunes 3.

For anyone wanting something more challenging. I published a much tougher version under the name 'Tye Dunes II - Elite Pins'... longer, tougher pins and with max speed greens. Have fun

So... I thought it might be worth clearing up the issues with those Elite pins. The course was never designed to play mega tough, but in honour of the course being used for the elimination tournament (where the guys left are all very good players) I thought those guys might want something more challenging. I therefore went looking for pin positions other than the ones I had intended for the CC audience this was aimed at. Most are tough but still fair, the 13th however is a problem if you are above the hole and definitely where I would consider a pin to be unfair. The 15th is pretty close and maybe some would argue others as well, but as long as you are right of the pin and don't go crashing at your putt I believe it is just on the good side of fair. So, you have been warned, I'd rather people stayed away from the Elite pins and didn't go hating me/the course (damn HB for not letting me hide it). I will publish more pin positions at some point and believe me these will be done with my normal care and attention . Meanwhile I've started work on my next project which will be another original course built with firm and fast... I learnt a lot from the original Tye Dunes so I'm hoping the next course will be even better TLDR: Elite pins... what Elite pins

this is a review of the front 9, the back 9 is just as good if not better.

this is a review of the front 9, the back 9 is just as good if not better. Cheers Mav, just found the time to give it a watch. I enjoyed hearing your insights, thanks as well for the compliments. In response to one of your wonderings, the course uses the same plot as the original but it is entirely new holes, I basically ripped everything back and started again. I also went for lusher grass textures just to mix it up a bit and make it stand out from the original. At some point I'll make a little tournament across the two, hopefully people find it interesting seeing the same landmarks and terrain used in different ways. Thanks again

Just finished playing this course and I thoroughly enjoyed it. 4,9, & 18 I believe we're my favorites. Just a beautiful course to play and a lot of fun to boot. Thanks for your time creating this course. Look forward to playing some of your other courses. Cheers!
