I had a bit of a mental meltdown around 7,8,9 but at least a score is on the board. I think there are going to be some low scores posted before the day is out though. If someone gets on a run breaking 60 is very doable in round one. Your turn digsb , go get'em! nice shooting Giraffe72 .no pressure then.... Unfortunately, I can't do my rounds until Wednesday as its my wedding anniversary and I don't think the Mrs. will be to happy if I put the xbox on. Ha ha, fair enough! Happy anniversary!

Well I finished my 4 rounds at Drayton -25, disappointed at how many birdies I left on the course. Also moved from D to C so I might be moving back after this, not sure exactly how that works. Drayton was a fun course to play, gives you a lot of opportunities and you must take advantage when you can. Your short game will determine your score on this course.

If you earned your C card you get 3 strikes before you are sent back down to D. Did you get your C card or are you just there on exemption?

Wow. I would like to call this week "The Bad Bookends". I shot -4, -11, -13, -3. It seems that I love the course in the rain but hate it otherwise.

If you earned your C card you get 3 strikes before you are sent back down to D. Did you get your C card or are you just there on exemption? I started with a D card So then you haven't earned your C card? If not, then unless you are 15 shots or less in back of the top sponsor exempt player AND in the top 50%, you'll move back down to D class next week. Depends on the final results of the event.

Depends on the final results of the event. urmomsbrwneye you need to be within 15 of the top player on exemption and in the top 70 of the field, not the top 50%. If you look at last week's CC-A tournament there are two guys who were on exemption and finished in the bottom 50% (below the strike line) but fit the above criteria and they now have their 'A' card. Moving month has made it a bit confusing with this middle ground, but that is the precedent!
Your score will be close! There's a few of us going for our CC-C cards this week and keeping an eye on the top exempt guy. Good luck

Thanks for clarifying that. This whole moving month thing is very confusing. I'll be glad when it's over. LOL.

Weeeeeeelllllll, I have practiced this course all week and didn't even notice the water, there's a lot of water duh, Drayton lakes..... Clues in the name digs. Anyhow first round managed a -3 after going in the wet stuff twice. Decided to carry on with round two, thought oh well, at least I got my d-card, happy with that..... Shot 60,back in the hunt hopefully.

Howdy folks! CC-E member here playing on CC-C because of some craziness with the exemption rules last week (missed out on my CC-D card). So, not wanting to go crashing back to CC-E, haha, I practiced a bit more this week before hitting the tournament. Round 1: 67 Meh. Bounced back from a couple bogies, so it was an alright start. Finished with a 3-putt bogey, total lapse in concentration >_< Round 2: 66 Slightly better score but more frustrating honestly. Left so many putts on the lip, I couldn't seem to drop anything outside 8 feet. Should've been a better score. Round 3: 63 Bogey-free (I think..) so can't complain about that! Still a couple shots left out there, especially on the back, but obviously much happier with that score. Round 4: 66 I decided to play all 4 rounds at once today, maybe not the best idea (but hey, I was trending the right way with round 2 and round 3 paid off!), so I was a but fatigued by this point I think. I did exactly what I told myself not to do and put it in the drink on 3, double bogey. Poor putting on the next, bogey. BUT (cue epic montage music...) I told myself to just get it back to even on the front and try to eek out a birdie or two on the back (I'd been playing better on the front all week). And I did! Got it back to even by 8, and then, FINALLY, got my approaches to stick and sunk some not-tap-ins on the back 9. If only that had happened in rounds 1-3. Super happy with the way that ended, it was looking bleak haha. But that's why I love TGCTours, adds that extra fire in the belly to turn it around! So overall, -26. hopefully that will hold up to be within 15 strokes of the top exempt. I think that means I jump from CC-E up to CC-C(?? the rules this month are bizarre haha) Good luck everyone, I'll be watching the leaderboards! (Especially the exempt folks, but not toooo much luck to you guys haha)

After three rounds a guy is sitting in-42. That's what I call going low!! Indeed. Steady on Trevor, you're making the rest of us look ordinary! Got to give a shout out to the Chief , Wild Bill Hibbard, putter in one hand, glass of wine in the other, proving the Barstool win was no fluke!
