CC-A...CC-A...didn't think I'd ever visit you boys. But here I am on a bus pass this week hoping to make another jump. Started slow but kicked myself in the ass(I'm getting good at it) and battled hard the final 3 rounds. Hope it's enough to earn my permanent A card
66-62-60-62

good luck boys!!!

Look at it this way. Top exempt would have to shoot 54 under in order for you not to make it. Somehow, I think that's highly unlikely. Curious. Any hurricane winds in any of the rounds?

4th round picked up a bit but only for a few holes...mostly 5-10mph over all 4 rounds. Couldn't drop a putt in the 1st round..should have really been another 60 or 62.

If the winds are in the 5 to 10 area, I should be able to shoot about 28 to 32 under if I'm on my game but no worse than 20 under. I'm not sure if that will be good enough to earn my D Card after the exemption I'll be getting this week (currently sitting T3) but I'm going to give it all I have.

Well done Jim, top score. I don't think people will be hitting -50 and if they do there won't be many as it's a bit of a red herring this course. Most of the fairways are simple enough but if your approaches aren't dialled in then there's plenty of breaks to deceive you.
Well done too Wag on your 3rd place. Back up to D in no time. You da man!

I'm currently in 3rd place on CC-C with one person yet to play who could potentially push me down a place so I'll be on exemption to B for Drayton Lakes buddy. Ever since I bought the game last month I literally haven't stopped playing, which has definitely helped my game no end but I played the Drayton Lakes practice tour that you set up last night and finished with a very lethargic -36. I just didn't have that same buzz I had when I first signed up so I think I need to cut down and just stick to playing a practice round or two followed by the tournament as I'm sure we all need a break from time to time. Will give me a chance to spend some time with the wife again too as I'd forgotten who she was!!!

Well, good luck next week. I'm sure you'll be getting your B Card by the time it's over.

there are I think 2 drayton lakes practice courses out there I would probably play the one with the high winds.

Rd 1: -10 Rd 2: -9 Rd 3: -9 Rd 4: -11
Total: -39
I needed this after Fossmill beat me up and stole my lunch. Great course, I just couldn't score. Phyler, like you, I'm hoping this score holds up somewhat. Drayton will allow for some good scoring with the low winds and relatively flat layout, but I'm just hoping not too low. There are a few par 3's I found to be a challenge and a few par 5's in a couple of the rounds that are impossible to reach in two. That'll prevent anyone from going super low... hopefully. The players in this community continue to amaze me with the scores they post. So good.

-50 is definitely out there. Played this to try and get my game out of the doldrums and finished -52. Go get 'em.

this is going to be a birdie fest drive and pitch. the winds in rd 1 were from 7 - 8 early holes to 13 - 16 middle to late holes. but rd 2 winds are under 7mph. don't know about rds 3-4 haven't played them yet.

Well done Jim. I said to you a little while ago that you had it in you and that all you had to do was put your mind to it. You've now posted a good score in your first outing in CC-A and look to have a good shot at another exemption. It's tough up here on the Web tour but that's why we play, for the challenge, right?

I had an absolutely shocking week. Scored: -2 -11 -4 -10
Total -27
Couldn't put consistently at all today and it might cost me my cc-a card looking at the other scores so far.
