So quiet here i decided to play all 4 rounds
58, 63, 63, 65 (-35)
Happy with rd 1 and 3, wind at times was blowing 17 during 3 which is a couple of mph outside my comfort zone. Just hanged on for dear life there.
Round 4, well, i guess i just ran out of steam. Low winds, had the golfing gods offered me a 63 before i started i'd told them no way in hell! Aaaand i just could not get going, other people on steam l/b just kept on going further and further away, me pitched almost every fringe on every hole, could not buy a chip or a putt. By the time i hit the tee on 14 i was 1 under for the round, golfing gods offered me a 68 then i'd grab it with both hands and a profuse apology to boot. 3 birds and a flop in eagle followed, I guess i should be generally happy in the end.
Good luck guys and gals with your rounds, have fun!

I played R1 on Sunday. I don't remember what I shot (I think 64). I should probably check into that.

Have to double check,
Think round 1 was -10 all was going well decided to lay up on a par 5 "doing the smart thing " put my 48yrd chip on a side slope lipped out back and forward for a 3 putt 6 only blip on a very solid round!
Rink was -6 round 2 wasn't in control of my ball for the whole round had 2 stupid bogeys and was always the wrong side of the stick my eagle birdie par finish saved my blushes here to be honest could of been a lot worse.
I'm a lot less frustrated this morning after seeing the updated board than I was last night! Still those 3 bogeys big difference between-16 & -19.
Anyway cut made I presume and the gale will either make or break my week!

Played the 1st 2 rounds here out of curiosity as I am ever so close to the cusp of the Web Tour. Shot -14 through 2 rounds.

Played my first 2 rounds last night and didn't get off to a great start with a bogey on the 1st, never really got anything going at all and missed a fair few 8-10ft putts that were down as flat with no lines that broke 2-3 cups and ones that looked like being on the side of a slope with fast moving lines that stayed straight and broke the opposite way at the hole. Played better rd 2 and only a bogey on 13(again) and a missed 8ft putt for birdie on 18 after a great shot in left a sour taste for an otherwise decent rd.
R1 -6 R2 -9 -15
should make the cut I hope, not sure if I can put up scores on the weekend to get a decent finish here though.

First thing is first as a man of integrity I will put my hands up and apologise for the 2 illegal pins on the weekend one on rd 3 one on rd 4!
Both aren't horrendous but still this should not happen and will not happen again was only starting my Scheduler position and obviously missed them while testing!
Again Sorry guys *hangs head in shame*
Golf wise "The Nemesis" struck again a third rd -1 was destroyed any chance of making the exemption mark this week and it wasn't Gales fault! I missed 6 5 footers after leaving myself on manky sideslopes.
Round 4 was a lot better -9 but after a left to right on the first that broke the opposite way and a couple of 92%ers (at least none near water for once) the only though was what could I have scored round 4.
Summary Round 1 -10 solid except the 3 putt 6 on the par 5 Round 2 -6 rubbish with short Irons Round 3 -1 putter trouble from start to finish Round 4 -9 Good fight back but to little to late
On to Whonnock Lake a course that I love because it kicks the snot out of me so looks like I won't be Moving in "Moving Month"

Bases on the round two scores so far, it looks like I won't be sweating while waiting for the cut line this week which makes a pleasant change. Round three will be the one that makes or breaks exemptions this week so let's see how I handle the wind. I have not been playing great in the wind lately so extra focus needed, it's going to be tough today but hopefully lots of fun. A steady par opened my round, it never looked like birdie and since damage limitation will be a part of today's round, I will happily take safe par when needed. Failing that to find the fairway on the second put me in deep trouble, it took away any hope of birdie and had me fighting for par, a fight I lost with poor putting, one over. I did the same thing on the third, my second shot had a tree blocking my route to the green but managed to play around it, I did not find the green but was close enough to chip close for par. A combination nation of wind, small green and pin position meant a nightmare approach on four, hitting a tree on the shot did not help either, twenty four yards short in the heavy rough, I got close enough for par but it was really tough going out there. Hole five brought another terrifying tee shot, I played long, it was no time for bravery, i was well off the green in heavy rough, yes that was playing safe. I messed up my chip and ended up on the rough on the other side, thankfully got that chip right for a good par. I found the fairway on six which made a nice change then managed to miss the green from less than forty yards, don't ask! Lipped out my chip, a birdie chance gone, still one over. I made the green on seven for all of three seconds as the ball rolled down a slope and off the green, another par. A tailwind on eight finally brought some relief and birdie, I was beginning to think this could be a birdie free round, a long tee shot, short pitch and short putt and at last back to even par. The wind dying down to ten miles a hour meant another birdie possibility on nine, for people that find the green, for me just a par.
My approach on ten hit the lip of the cup and rolled enough to leave me a short but viciously breaking putt, still it was a birdie chance which I missed, I nearly missed the par put coming back as well. The game then decided to give me a break by crashing, sadly it loaded back just fine so I had to continue. Eleven brought my best tee shot of the day but to be honest, any shot finding the green was going to be my best tee shot of the day, three feet from the hole, tap in birdie and I was under par, for now at least. Back to missing the green on twelve and a chip of devilish proportions, so many fast moving red lines, the ball stopped a couple of feet below the hole to at least give me a easy par putt back. Thirteen played tough with a crosswind and was more than happy to walk away with par, just a pity I was walking into a ninety four percent shot over water and double bogey. Completely my own fault, the calmest wind of the round, the easiest hole of the round and I rushed my shot in excitement, I saw myself going two under before I had the chance to go two under. There was a great chance to pull one of those shots back on fifteen, my flop stopped inches from the cup, my flop stopped completely seven feet away of the green, it was not my day. Sixteen played easy which was nice back to even, seventeen also played easy, was just six inches short of eagle but after my round, all birdies were welcome. I finished out with a sixteen foot birdie to make my scorecard look that bit better but it's looking like that double cost me any chance of exemption.
That was a challenge, it did not help that I did not play well, missed far to many greens. At times you have to just take par but there are birdie chances out there, especially on the closing holes. Survive the first thirteen with two or three under and there's a great chance of a good round. Even though I did not play the wind well, I loved the challenge of it, the less than hundred percent shot did spoil it a little but these things happen. Who ever plays well on round three, deserves to be fighting for those exemption spots, good luck all.

I think this was a good course choice, plenty birdie chances if played right but easily caught out if not, in my opinion nothing to apologise for. Next stop weeks course is one hell of a challenge, a fantastic course that I know will have me struggling big time, I think I shot seven over on the Sunday setup a few days ago. The sort of course you get what you deserve and if shoot well, will deserve a exemption spot. Personally, I love a challenge like that, I may fail, I may surprise myself, I will enjoy not matter what, great choice.

Either way you post some detail about your round. I notice you mentioned a few less than 100% shots and Moe Slorkman said the same, I'm starting to think there is something to this rd3 nemesis thing as the majority of my bad swings/luck comes in rd3 every week.

As long as I can see my scorecard and write straight away, it's pretty much from memory. I know long posts are not for everyone but I enjoy writing them, being doing it since the very first week of tgctours and its part of the game for me.
